Megan’s Coffee Corner

Stopped by because I was in the area and had been meaning to check this place out. Coffee was great and the barista on shift was very friendly! Will definitely be by again!

I am by here often, and we stop b/​c it’s convenient, but I really don’t like the flavor of the coffee. I tried a few different drinks/​flavors, but it just isn’t great to me. However, my husband likes their Red Bull drinks. And the girls working here are super friendly. I would keep coming back if I liked the coffee, but alas, I do not. I do say try it for yourself though… they stay busy, and the staff is awesome.

So based on the reviews and location I had to try this little drive thru/​walk up coffee stand. And boy was it good. Not what I expected, but better. Sweet girl working this morning, walked me through my white coffee order-​super impressed and SUPER cool they offer white coffee since ta hard to come by and is better for you and higher in caffeine. And the breakfast sandwiches I read raves about lived up to their raves–
My pesto breakfast sandwich was delicious. I just found my new favorite place! The only one thing I can say is the prices are a tad steep. Ten backs for a white coffee latte with almond milk and a breakfast sandwich, it’s about $ 7 else where. But I would still come back for sure, just not as often.

THEY ADDED THEIR OWN TIPS!!! Went here and ordered a coffee last week. I gave a cash tip and put the coffee charge on my card. Its not like I am some cheap jerk that doesn’t tip I gave a $ 1 tip for a $ 4 coffee that is over 20%!!! The next morning I looked at my bank account and discovered the barista (s) added a $ 3 tip on my card. I called there and spoke to the «manger» who literally sounded like she had the brain power of a golden retriever (sorry to any golden retriever owners, but its a known fact they are dumb dogs). She didn’t really seem to care just wanted to get to the customers that were in line. The «manager» basically told me that she was very busy understaffed and did not have time to talk with me and said she would like to «try» to call me back later. Wow. Its not about the $ 3 because come on its three dollars, but its principal. This is serious issue and its actually fraud too. This would never have happened when it was Mondo’s. Place went down hill and I have been going there for almost 10 years now. Was the most convenient coffee shop right next to my work. I will go across the freeway to the place I loathe Starbucks.

Such a great cuppa! Usually order an americano with half n half. Always yummy. They go out of their way to make a fancy hot chocolate for the little ones, sprinkles included. My older boys enjoy their large hot dogs!

Let’s be honest…
Shouldn’t waste my time on reviewing but my first visit was so frustrating.
Service: no one greets you right away, they only acknowledge you when THEY are ready. I Understand if it’s busy but 3 cars total should give you plenty of time to give a simple hello. I was helped my 2 girls around 8am and both had the same poor customer service. They answer your questions yes or no format and don’t try to up sell the products.
Price: I ordered a 12oz iced Americans w a little but of vanilla syrup. They gave me a 16oz watery americano, said it would be $ 3.90 and charged my card $ 4.25 when I got my receipt back. Very expensive for a coffee run. Even Starbucks charged less than $ 3 for man americano!
Coffee: default 1 star so I’ll give an additional star for only coffee flavor. Seemed like a good roast but honestly won’t be going back. Not worth it.

The food is good, not great or anything. If you have a panini press and threw it together, that’s what it tastes like. Coffee is ok, nothing awesome that any other coffee stand couldn’t do. We orders a few specialty drinks and weren’t really impressed. It was great but it wasn’t horrible. They were swamped when we showed up with a huge order so maybe we went at a bad time.

Barista girls are nice. But coffee is just okay, and food is horrible. I tried this place several times. I frankly don’t understand why they have such a review…

Wanted to like it! In town for a 1 day business trip. Had a excellent espresso downtown yesterday so I needed my fox for today. Very busy place with lots of return customers sadly it won’t be me. The espresso was so overly hot and it was really just hot coffee. Bagel was only lightly toasted with at to much cream cheese. Sorry Bellevue. Not my cup of espresso

The fry chicken leg with rice… omg! So delicious. It’s my pleasure to tell everyone here I have found such a tasted hometown food in Bellevue.

I went by this place based on the reviews of my fellow Unilocalers. The place is a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ coffee hut, and I nearly did! I’m glad that I turned around and went back.
The egg florentine breakfast sandwich smelled fantastic and really was delicious (thanks the recommendation Unilocalers!), and the coffee was pretty good.
Add in the friendly and fast service, and I’ll definitely be back!

Every time I go to this coffee stand, the employees are NEVER friendly. The first time I went, the barista didn’t say hi, took my order, and continued talking to her coworker. As she handed me my drink she still didn’t say anything to me until I owed her money, she still proceeded to talk to her coworker. Since this was my first time going, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and went again a week later. Now I have a different barista, but this girl was talking on her phone the ENTIRE time! The next time I went the same thing happened to me, the employees only talked to one another, but the worst part is, as I was saying thank you and goodbye the barista shut the sliding window and didn’t say a word. Since I work in the restaurant industry I completely understand how annoying customers can be on Unilocal,and I never thought I would be one to post on this website, but I’ve never experienced such bad customer service.

The Americano I had was really tasty! And I highly recommend the Eggs Florentine sandwich – it really hit the spot. Lots of flavor, not messy (easy to eat in the car), and just the right size for a quick breakfast fix.

This place always have nice baristas. They also have a huge coffee menu, and seriously delicious sandwiches. I always get the grilled ham and cheese and it comes with the works, including tomatoes and pickles. And they have white coffee! Sometimes it can take a while when you’re waiting in line but that’s normal for coffee stands like this. It’s not a Starbucks, folks.

Unilocal introduced me to this place — otherwise I would’ve driven right by without a second glance. Very happy that I found it — thank you Unilocalers!
I’ve tried their toaster sandwiches several times and they are seriously tasty. My 5 year old also loved them so they are kid-​approved. The drinks are also great. Italian sodas are so yummy. There is a drive-​thru and a walk-​up window. Service seems quick and friendly every time.

Great customer service, and the coffee is done right and fast! Even got the dire hard Starbucks fan in the family raving about the americanos she gets here.

I can’t go a week without stopping in for a Fire Dog (my favorite breakfast!). Dig into the depths of the menu and try some of the special drinks. My personal favorite is the Morning Mist (Earl Grey tea with vanilla, cinnamon, cream. etc). I have tried to recreate them at home but with only limited success– gotta go see the girls @ Megan’s to get my fix.
Staff is very friendly and would remember my order if I ever bothered to order the same thing more than twice in a row =)

I haven’t tried their food but their coffee is ON POINT. The tall (12 oz) size cup comes with 2 shots of espresso. I usually get a tall nf iced latte with a pump of vanilla and it’s SO good. I’ve gotten iced lattes elsewhere with double shots and it isn’t comparable to this place. Something about the beans they use is so good! The customer service is great as well.
Starbucks has nothing on this place. Plus, I love to support small businesses.

Latte was so so, but the Provolone and Cheddar grilled cheese sandwich was delish. :)x

Don’t be fooled because this isn’t a sit-​down place; it’s like the Cheers of espresso… With great coffee and food! They are family friendly and always give my dog a treat when she’s in the car with me.
They changed the name from Mondo’s to Megan’s, so that’s why there are so few reviews. To reassure yourself this place is awesome, check here:
My mom started going to this place EVERY morning… 15 YEARS AGO when we moved to Bellevue from Seattle. The baristas still know her order and three cars and three kids later the fabulous ladies at Megan’s can see my mom’s car several orders away and get my coffee-addict-mother’s signature double-​tall, extra hot nonfat latte all ready.
They ALSO have big «Mondo Dogs» and breakfast sandwiches all day that they heat up. They give the sandwiches to you in a plastic container so you won’t spill and can save the food until you get to your destination.
They also serve Italian sodas and have just a really fantastic selection of drinks — you will never get bored.
Also, these aren’t some Seattle-​area-​come-​lately gals who will balk at complex orders. Give them your toughest, baddest, Seattle-​elitist order and they’ll rise to the challenge.
(P.S. they also have a really nice «coffee garden» and they will serve bicyclists in the drive-​though.)
