Saw Doctor Sobia Moghis and she was great! Got an appointment same day, close to closing hours but did not feel rushed during appointment. She was friendly yet professional, I am definitely coming back to see her!

They have improved. The wait time has been reduced by quite a bit the last two visits. Plus the doctors are great.

I was very disappointed with my experience seeing Dr. Sobia Moghis. I booked an appointment through ZocDoc (for the next day, which was awesome). When I came in the receptionist was friendly and the other patients were chatting. Unfortunately that’s the best I can say.
The nurse who took my vital signs and asked triage questions didn’t really know what she doing; I had to spell out words for her.
When the doctor came in she seemed somewhat disinterested. She didn’t go into much detail with my history and didn’t ask many questions. She wanted me to tell her what I have when it’s her job to figure that out!
My case is somewhat complex because I have multiple symptoms that don’t necessarily point to a single condition or treatment. In other words, I needed what only a doctor can provide, which is expert analysis and diagnosis. If I wanted to plug my symptoms into WebMD I would just do that instead. Dr. Moghis has neither the analytical nor the interpersonal attitude that makes doctors effective.
If you have a very simple case like the flu and need to be seen quickly, Dr. Moghis will be fine for you, but at that point you should just go to urgent care.

I saw DR. Sobia Moghis for Botox. She was absolutely lovely. I would see her again in a heartbeat!

Kristi Farrell, ARNP, is a fine healthcare practitioner. It’s actually getting to see her or any other doctor on staff that’s the issue I have with this office.
I’ve spent years of my life waiting, and when I hit my 40s I finally realized that my time was worth something. So now I have a simple rule for all doctors and businesses: I arrive on time; you see me at the previously agreed-​upon timeslot. If you make me wait more than 15 minutes, I will reschedule or cancel. I’ve had to reschedule appointments on three separate occasions because of this office’s habitual lateness.
Today I arrived a few minutes early for my 11:00 appointment, and was made to wait 25 minutes before I gave up and rescheduled. If I had arrived 25 minutes late, this office would have charged me a penalty fee for missing my appointment. I’m beginning to wonder if I should start billing them.
I know doctors are busy people. So are their clients. I can’t afford to wait around all day for them because they are habitually overscheduled. Or perhaps there’s some other issue of which I have no inkling, but which forces me to wait every single time. I don’t know or care what the problem is; I’d just like to see it fixed before I return. In the meantime, this office takes the patience out of being a patient.

I have been a patient with Medical Arts for over ten years and can’t say enough great things about my Doctor, Dr. Sobia Moghis. Although Medical Arts has experienced some changes recently, the one thing that remains the same is Dr. Moghis has always had my best interest at heart and has been available to be me when I needed her most. She makes your health a priority and for that I can’t thank her enough. If you are looking for a doctors office where you can schedule an appointment quickly and establish a warm relationship with someone that cares I would recommend you contact Medical Arts.

The receptionist is frosty. She can’t be bothered to at least smile at you and make you feel welcome when she finds you standing there waiting to tell somebody you’re there for the appointment.
Then, before you even get settled into any one of the rooms — you’re just out in the waiting room area — you’re expected to go take a pee test in the bathroom that apparently the whole building uses, and then bring the full sample in the jar in front of everybody in the tiny waiting room.
This is the only place that ever gave me a high blood pressure reading — and it was because I really wanted to say «I’m getting bad signals just from your mediocre receptionist and the way you make people do pee tests without even getting them comfortable. I want to just walk right out of here right now but I figure you’ll charge me some nasty amount for doing that, so I’ll stick it out for now, but I’ve already decided that I’m not coming back here. And I feel lame for FEELING LIKE CRAP BECAUSE YOUR RECEPTIONIST WOULDN’T EVEN SMILE AT ME AND I REALLY NEEDED SOMEONE TO CARE TODAY.»
Sigh.
It’s ironic then that the doctor I saw — Dr. Grohman I think is her name — was actually someone I liked. She was lively, upbeat, and a fun personality and wanted to explore all angles of the problems that I told her about. I’m only cringing now because I’m waiting for the other shoe — the bill — to drop regarding all of this, which is sad.
It’s also sad that this really nice doctor has to deal with this cramped office which, apparently, has been getting consistently low ratings on Unilocal for a while now. I wish I’d seen this sooner. I would have saved my time. I hope Dr. Grohman finds a better place to practice and I hope that receptionist learns a thing or two about treating people like human beings.
** also, they have this website where you can get your results of the tests that they do — I sign in and do what the sheet they gave me told me to do, but the message keeps saying «Sign in to the website to read Dr. Grohman’s message.» when I’m ALREADY SIGNED IN.

I am very unhappy with the level of service I have received from Dr. Sobia Moghis at this office. First off, at my annual exam this year, she asked me if I was still suffering from migraines and when I said yes, offered to refill the prescription I usually take for it. Later, when I received the bill, I see that this extra «service» was billed as ‘not part of my annual exam’ and I am being charged something in the vicinity of $ 90 for a question the doctor asked me. The front desk staff instructed me to discuss this billing question with Dr. Moghis, who seemed dismissive of my frustration and told me that’s just the way insurance works. I object to being charged for a service when the doctor asks me a question. At a minimum, I would prefer to have known beforehand that answering the question would have resulted in a $ 90 charge.
I also find it disturbing that the 2 or 3 different exam rooms I have been in during my visits all have posters advertising Botox or Botox-​like products aimed at «enhancing» female beauty and «reducing» signs of age. I don’t believe a patient exam room is an appropriate place to be pushing people to feel unhappy about their appearance and seeking medical treatment to change it.
Lastly, today I woke up with a migraine. I had only one of my pills left for treatment, so I contacted the pharmacy for a prescription refill. The pharmacy didn’t understand the instructions given by Dr. Moghis and told me they would need to consult with her before filing the prescription. I called the doctor’s office to follow up with them to ask that the question be answered. I told the nurse that I was having a migraine today and really needed this refill taken care of. She assured me that the doctor was with a patient, would be done in 45 minutes, and would take care of it before the end of the day. By the time I got home from work and was able to follow-​up with the pharmacy (an hour after the doctor’s office closes), I discovered that the doctor had not, in fact, followed up on this prescription issue.
I find it unacceptable that a place that is, supposedly, part of my care-​network would disregard my suffering. I don’t think I should have to nag them to do the basic components of their jobs.
I will be seeking a different primary care physician.

This practice was recommended to me when I moved to Seattle and I was consistently disappointed. The waiting room is small, although I can deal with that (even in a germy doctor’s office). The walls were so thin you could hear through them while waiting to be seen — a troublesome privacy issue. And they don’t take credit or debit cards! Cash or check? I get that at a dive bar or upstart restaurant that can’t afford the fees, but come on, this is a medical practice. It’s located in a building that looks like it hasn’t been renovated since the 1970’s and I actually spotted leaks around some of the windows in the hallways. The one bright spot was the nurse who takes your vitals — a real sweetheart — whose sunny disposition was immediately offset by the frosty nurse practitioner. Keep looking for a better doctor’s office — you can do better (try the UW Medical Center near Factoria).

I have been very unhappy with this practice. I wanted a female doctor within walking distance to work but have had issues since starting. First, the office is dingy and beat up. It seems weird to focus on the cosmetics, but when I don’t feel the clinic is clean, I have a hard time trusting their expertise (or judgement!). Second, both times I’ve been early for my appointments and have had to wait more than an hour past my scheduled time to get in. Third, they have an online system where you can review your lab results. I have yet to get the confirmation email from them with the link to the lab results even though I was called in for the second appointment to go over said results. Fourth, both times I’ve gone in, I’ve been asked the same set of questions about whether I’ve smoked in the past. Same questions, asked 2 weeks apart. Fifth, they are unable to write paper prescriptions, perferring to send the prescription to the pharmacy of your choice. The problem is they have not sent in my prescription despite multiple phone calls. Sixth, they only accept cash or check for copays so I cannot use my HSA benefit card. And unfortunately, they are unable to provide itemized receipts, so I’m having a difficult time getting reimbursed for services that I’ve covered out of pocket. I am extremely unhappy with this clinic and will likely switch after I go through the 8-​week course of Vitamin D that was prescribed.

I was excited to try this place out because of all the raving reviews but I unfortunately report that I was very disappointed. I called in SPECIFICALLY to see Dr. Jennifer Richards and for some reason they had me see Dr. Sobia Moghis. No offense but I set up the appointment to see a specific doctor and they just handed me to someone else. I was also upset with the doctor that saw me because I felt like she has NO IDEA WHAT SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT! She was asking me questions and looking at me like I was crazy or something with the answers I was giving her. Their office is also very small and makes me feel like I’m walking into a disease infestation. It doesn’t seem very clean and ug… gag me! AND… they don’t have a bathroom in their facility so if you have to give a urine sample [like I had to] you have to walk out in the hallway, where other businesses are functioning and use the bathroom and then walk back through the hallway, through the waiting room and hand them your sample. So unprofessional and uncomfortable. Anyway, I’m disappointed and I most certainly will not be going back.

This is my primary doctors office and I love the doctors and nurses, they are very attentive, caring and helpful — I highly recommend seeing Rebecca Evans she is the nurse practicioner and knows what she is talking about! She listens to my concerns and addresses every angle of anything I may have considered asking!
The only downside is the time it takes to be in there you could have watched a movie in the theatre! Take a book, magazine and charge up your iphone to play solitare when your waiting!

I am extremely particular about the physicians I see. Nine times out of ten I am not impressed and will not choose to see them. I was in need of a general practitioner and my nurse practitioner at my gynecologist office suggested Jennifer Richards at Medical Arts. Medical Arts is not an office where you are going to be sitting in a waiting room with plasma screen TVs and expensive furniture. But that truly is not the reason you come to the doctor as you would much rather watch your own TV at home or at least I would hope. Jennifer was extremely knowledgeable but also had no problems looking up information she was not sure about. I have an extremely rare medical condition and having someone who will admit not knowing but also do the research to find out or call my treating doctor for information is a very sought after trait by me. Jennifer is a friendly beautiful woman who makes you feel comfortable the moment you meet her. She was up to date in all the newest and best medical treatments. Even bringing to my attention that I could get steroid treatments to my surgery scars to make them go away and set me up with a dermatologist that specializes in that. I am so glad I was referred to her and now my hunt for a general practitioner is over. I would recommend her to anyone in the Kirkland Bellevue area.
