History

Established in 1982.

The firm was founded in 1982 by Mackey McNeill to provide an alternative lifestyle business as Mackey was raising her daughter. Within a decade the firm outgrew it’s home office, moved into professional space and went on to be one of the Top 25 Largest Women Owned Businesses & one of the Top 25 Largest CPA Firm in the Cincinnati area.

Awards are great, fun to receive and exciting, but as our founder looked at her success, she realized the largest CPA firm in the city was not what she set out to create. Time for a remake, redo, redesign!

Mackey’s original intention was to be an advisor, someone who helped clients look to their future. As their CPA, she helped them number-​crunch their past. With guidance from great mentors, she reaffirmed her intention, rebranded and renamed the firm.

Painful at first and ever rewarding today, we have grown and prospered as we helped our clients grow and prosper.

Mackey McNeill is the Founder and President/​CEO of Mackey Advisors® Wealth Advocates, who passionately pursue our client’s prosperity. She has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, TIME, Money, USA TODAY and Reader’s Digest, along with many other publications. Mackey is a frequent media guest and highly regarded public speaker.

Mackey Advisors serves individuals and corporate clients and has been recognized as one of the largest women-​owned businesses in Greater Cincinnati. The firm received the Best New Service of the Year award from the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce for its life changing wealth program, The Prosperity Experience.®
