Dr. Morton is an excellent physician. My husband and I both use him for our eye care. He is very thorough. We have never waited for our appointments as another review mentioned.

This is the first review I’ve ever written. I want to alert potential patients to Dr. Mortons billing practice. I saw him once for a glasses prescription and brought my eye health records with me. No conversation of my eye problems were addressed by him at that visit. After purchasing new glasses and giving a month to get used to the new prescription I made an appt. for a «recheck» of my prescription. I had already been back to the maker of new prescription to make sure there was no error in the making of the lenses. I then saw Dr. Morton again for a recheck and my insurance was billed over $ 200.00 for another medical eye exam. I contacted his office to question the charges and was told not to pay my additional portion for second exam and my insurance would be reimbursed for the second «medical» exam. I contacted his office today and was told they never said they would reimburse my insurance for the second «medical» exam. I have never been billed twice by a any other provider for a prescription recheck. Or have been treated like I was ignorant about a health issue of my own. No wonder our health care and insurance costs are so high when we have Providers that double dip their patients insurance providers! I still have a terrible prescription and called my insurance to see if they were reimbursed or not. And to whether or not I would be covered for another exam with my previous eye care professional. I’m thankful that my insurance will cover an exam and I can only hope that Dr. Morton does the ethically correct thing and reimburses my insurance provider. Beware! He examined my eyes twice in a thirty day period and still didn’t get it right! Be sure to check your billing if he spends more than ten minutes with you because I was told by his receptionist that more than a ten minute exam ups the cost and code of billing to a «Medical Exam» not just a «vision exam». Save your time and trouble and money! Go somewhere else!

Be prepared to wait upwards of an hour. This is my second visit here and it is always a hours wait. Time management people. This guy is great for old folks who have nothing better to do

Top Notch! I received the most thorough exam I’ve ever had. Dr. Morton has exceptional credentials and I felt confident that I received quality care. I need annual exams and have definitely decided to make this physician my treating provider. Also, Dr. Morton has excellent patient relations and does not make you feel hurried or rushed. He takes the time to answer any of your questions.
