Davis Optical Express

Davis Optical itself is fine. We have ordered eyeglasses with no problems. The opthamologist– Dr Lee– on the other hand is a waste of time and money. Our daughter seemingly had trouble seeing the board at school (according to her teacher). We took our seven year old daughter in for an eye exam to Dr Lee’s office inside Davis Optical. She was very excited about the idea of getting glasses. The Dr took that as a sign that our daughter was LYING about her exam results!!! She said as much and did not give her a prescription. My husband voiced his concern and the Dr. (much like a broken record) kept repeating ‘I understand your frustration’ I could care less about her understanding; I wanted an accurate exam for my daughter! Dr Lee unfortunately had no ‘listening ears’. Knowing our daughter and the fact she does not lie, we immediately took her to another Dr. She NEEDED glasses quite urgently and is wearing them to this day!!! I am so glad we disregarded Dr Lee’s bogus analysis. The new Dr was appalled when we told her the story. She mentioned that there are numerous ways of double checking if the results are accurate without having to even ask questions from the patient. STAY AWAY and go elsewhere.
