Description

Specialties

D.F. Sutton & Assoc. is an interior design group that has succeeded in meeting or exceeding the expectations of its clients, particularly those who have previously worked with other designers. The owner, Deborah, has mastered a technique to help her see style and color the way you do. She works collaboratively with commercial or residential clients to design interior spaces that reflect your own identity. She is more available to her clients, and the value of what she does is well above the norm. From conception, space planning, and architectural design through furniture to the last accessory, she is personally there to guide you through the process and be your advocate.

Interior design is what we have done for over 20 years not as a hobby, but as a full time business creating beautiful spaces to reflect your style. We proudly serve Bellevue, Medina, Clyde Hill, Redmond, Issaquah, Kirkland, Seattle and surrounding areas.

History

Established in 1991.

After working for others Design Firms where I felt I had to compromise, being pulled between the employer and the client, I left wanting to be the advocate for the client and answer to them alone. Established D. F. Sutton & Assoc. Inc. in 1991 doing residential and commercial design, I have been fortunate to work for clients from all walks in life, making this a rich and rewarding experience. With a degree in Interior Design (with honors) from a FIDER accredited school I set out working for other firms to gain knowledge and to establish myself in the field first. This has given me a broad base of knowledge.

Meet the Business Owner

Deborah S.

Business Owner

Born and raised in the Midwest I bring a bit of the down to earth with my unique ability to provide a wide variety of styles. I have lived on both coasts during the 70’s but have lived here in the beautiful Northwest for the past nearly 30 years. Most of my family are in the field of science and have an artistic hobby or two. I have chosen to use my artistic side for my profession but find that my scientific side helps when solving issues with contractors for why a material or structural issue is not performing the way it should. This has saved my clients a multitude of problems, one in particular a very substantial sum of money and headache.
