We see children form 6 months — 17 years old with suspected Neurodevelopmental Disorders such as Autism, Learning Disorders, ADHD and more. We offer screening, assessment and comprehensive therapies such as OT, Speech, ABA, and Nutrition.

Cogwheel Clinic uses a very comprehensive approach that is child and family focused, allowing therapy to be more effective and efficient.

History

Established in 2015.

The Cogwheel Clinic opened its doors in 2015. The founder, Dr. Daniela Ferdico, felt there was something missing in the field of Neurodevelopment, and wanted to create a place for families to come that needed comprehensive care. While most clinics mold their services around what insurance will pay for, we feel strongly that the assessment and treatment of children is critical and should always include what is in the best interest of the child. Our comprehensive approach allows for unique services often not available in other clinics, such as Case Management, Nutrition, Naturopathy, and a variety of treatment options to suit your child.

The Cogwheel Clinic was founded by a Neuropsychologist with training and education in how behavior and cognition interact. This allows our clinic to have a unique approach in how we treat our clients, including cognition, behavior, emotional states and diet.

Business Owner

Dr Daniela Ferdico is a Neuropsychologist with a breadth of experience. She has worked in various hospitals as a Neuropsychologist such as Harborview Medical Center and University of Washington Hospital, as well as being an expert witness. During the last 12 years she took «time off» to raise her children, using this time to follow her entrepreneurial passions and build several award-​wining and successful businesses. She is combining her business sense and love for neuropsychology by starting the Cogwheel Clinic, a Center for Children with Neurodevelopmental difficulties such as Autism, ADD/​ADHD and other Pervasive Developmental diagnoses. The Cogwheel Clinic offers not only Diagnosis and typical treatments, but a completely unique repertoire of treatment services including ABA therapy, OT, Speech, Nutrition, Psychiatry and Animal Therapies.
