Clive Liu, MD

Very nice, informative and personable. I went to him for a couple things regarding skin and will absolutely return (if need be). He is a great doctor — definitely recommended!

I have been a patient of Dr Liu for quite a few years and he is the best! I have been suffering with psoriasis since I was 14 and he is the only one who has been able to successfully get it under control. It covered about ¹⁄₃ of my body and I am 99% clear because of him. I would recommend him to anyone suffering from this skin condition. Not only has he helped me with my skin but he is the kindest Dr. I have ever seen!

Dr. Liu is by far the kindest and most patient doctor I have ever had. He spends all the time you need until all of your questions are answered. He does not talk down to you at all. He makes you feel so much better about yourself before you leave. A very kind man!

VERY unhappy with Clive Liu. Botched my lip surgery. Do NOT go. I’ve had the same in-​office procedure before with my old dermatologist (retired) with no problems whatsoever. This became infected, still has a residual bump under the skin and was not done right.

I have been under the care of Dr Liu for over a year. I would like to recommend him and his staff to anyone who is in search of a dr. with a desire in making a real difference to a person and their well being rather than just building his clientele and patient base. Dr. Liu is compassionate and wants to know and treat the whole person. In our checkups I do not feel like someone on an assembly line, but rather like an important individual that he is interested in helping to have a better life. There is real concern as to how well the person is doing with the medication one is taking, and what steps would be beneficial in making a better more healthy life. I would give him five stars… If more stars were available, i would rate whatever is the highest.

He was very nice, and has a great bedside manor. Really seemed to listen to me and spent time going over my problems.
I have had certain skin «conditions» and lesions for years and years and years. No one has been able to diagnose what is truly going on. Finally a Dr. suggested I might have Psoriasis, and said I should probably see a «Psoriasis expert». That would be Dr. Liu, as this is his specialty. That is why I went to him (and the other very positive reviews).
Dr. Liu said he truly understood my frustration at not getting a definitive diagnosis for so long, but he also said he was not sure, had to wait and try many different things, it would be a loooong process, etc. More frustration for me. But I understand he is being careful.
Two weeks later, saw a new rheumatologist who confirmed I have Psoriatic Arthritis. an inflammatory arthritis, plus skin patches of psoriasis. Took SOOOO long to have a diagnosis.
Dr. Liu was great, wonderful, attentive. But was not able to give me a diagnosis, so I deduct one star– Otherwise, I might have given him 5 stars.

I have been a patient of Dr. Liu for at least six years. He is really good at what he does. It’s easy to see that he loves being a Dr. and is very good at it.
I like his approach. He works with me as a team to make treatment decisions. He doesn’t ‘dictate’ to me. He isn’t too aggressive and takes all the time I need with me so I understand my options.
My experience with doctors is that I either get great bedside manor, but not real dedicated on the medical side, or the super serious scientist that’s really smart but doesn’t care about people. With Dr. Liu, you get the best of both. He’s really good on the medical side, and is awesome with people!
Hopefully by now you can see that I highly recommend Dr. Clive Liu!
