Cute little breakfast place! Food and coffee were fantastic. Definitely worth the wait.

I can only account for the stellar reviews based on the lack of good breakfast places in Bellevue. Bitter coffee, tasteless pancakes, under cooked eggs, and bacon sent back twice for being under cooked, The waitstaff however are very friendly Parking is limited and in typical Bellevue fashion the parking spaces are very tight.

I stumbled upon this place on the way from Capitol Hill to Snoqualmie, and I’m so glad I did! The food and service was excellent(and always having a full cup of coffee was definitely an added bonus!).

A local classic in Bellevue. We headed there because our birthday boy wants and loves pancakes. While we were getting a little frustrated with waiting for a table, fitting 5ppl is a little tight, we were impressed after we got sat. It was my son’s 9th birthday and they had the whole restaurant sing for him while he got a special pancake treat with candle. The food came fast and was tasty. Tony’s Pick or the corned beef hash was good and one of the boys had Coach’s Pick — Apple Drizzled Pancakes was great. Rounding out the meal was a Chocolate Waffle, Strawberry Waffle and a classic Bacon, Egg and Pancake dish. I have to be honest, I wasn’t sure how service would be, but we will go back. The ladies are friendly, and fast. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. You have to stop in if you are in the area.

This place is great, quiet secluded location hidden just outside downtown Bellevue. The service is friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of breakfast options and lots of ability to customize. Food was made fresh and served fast. The wait staff was very attentive and considerate. If I were Ebert, I’d give it 2 x

Great local breakfast spot. The banana pancakes with the coconut syrup was amazing. Great service, our hostess even recommended a way for us to save money.

Great smiling service and yummy food. Had the biscuits and gravy and it was something to write Meemaw in Alabama all about. It’s a local sit and chat breakfast and coffee place so come early and be patient it’s worth the wait. A place I will come back and enjoy again!

I’ve been coming to this old Bellevue breakfast spot for years. I come here for the good food, prompt service and welcoming family atmosphere. Don’t expect to be seated right away if you show up at 11 am on a weekend, but if you want delicious food this is the place for you! The photos on the walls and all of the memorabilia are wonderful!

Best corned beef hash I’ve ever had. Paired with a classic waffle. Outstanding. Our waitress sue was so friendly she showered us with kindness and made us laugh. I like this place for breakfast and thought it was a good value.

For the food I’d give this place 4 stars, but there are a few detractors which lower the overall rating. Let’s start with the food. It’s pretty solid diner food. I’ve had pancakes and biscuits and gravy here. I’m not a big pancake fan, but they do have the biscuits and gravy dish of my dreams — biscuit, sausage, gravy, and eggs on top. It was amazing and I ate the whole thing(my heart didn’t approve but that’s its problem). Would go back just for that. I mentioned some detractors. Parking. Parking is horrid. The lot is tiny and fills quickly. There is additional parking just up the hill to the left, but that will also fill up. Once I spent 10 minutes driving through the neighborhood to find a parking spot before settling on a quasi-illegal spot. The wait. There is often a wait because this place is so popular, but I’ve never had to sit around for more than 15 min, so it isn’t too bad. One more note — the service is good and the waiters are always friendly.

Family owned little breakfast spot. The menu has your traditional breakfast items. Nothing too fancy. The prices aren’t very high but the portions also aren’t that big also, so kinda evens out. They serve hash browns! Which is a plus, but taste like they put a load of butter to fry it. Also tried the biscuit and gravy. Very heavy gravy. Overall, this place is ok, but not a must go.

I stopped in on Mothers Day. Surprisingly with my friend and her mom. The wait wasnt bad. And the food. I went with the French toast with eggs and sausage. Totally delicious. Whatever they put in the egg wash sets it apart from other restuarants. And you get the Family Vibe. The Customer Service was spot on. I shall be back.

Pros: 1. Very warm«breakfast/brunch place» with a friendly and cozy ambiance. 2. Open from 6:30 am every day. 3. Food is good, PURE American. We tried potato pancakes and blueberry pancakes. Both were superb. The blueberry sauce was house-made and superb! Way better pancakes from IHOP. 4. It feels relaxed and happy inside. 5. Ample of parking. Cons: 1. The place is a bit difficult to locate. 2. It can get crowded thanks to the good reviews. 3. It is a tiny hole in the wall type of restaurant.

By the appearance and location of the Corral, you might assume that most people would just pass it by. It’s located on the side of a road next to just a laundromat and reminds me of a log cabin. However, I arrived for breakfast around 7:45 on a Saturday and the restaurant was already almost full. By the time we left, there was even a wait. Overall, I had a good experience with both the food and service. Our waitress was very personable, hardworking and attentive by making sure we had everything we needed. We also received our order pretty quickly, no longer than 10 minutes. There are about a dozen types of pancakes to choose from in addition to a variety of other traditional breakfast foods. I decided to try the **Swedish Pancakes w/Lingonberries for something different and I really enjoyed it! The pancakes are thin and folded with the berries in the middle, similar to a crêpe. They were light and fluffy, while the berry filling was perfectly tart. I’m a light eater when it comes to breakfast, so the serving of three pancakes was an ideal amount. I’d recommend! Although the Corral’s exterior might not look too appealing, you’ll be pleasantly surprised once you give it a try.

This place is tucked in a corner with a small parking lot. Came here for an early lunch and was able to get a table for 2 pretty quickly. But at prime lunch time there was a bit of a line. Place serves traditional american brunch as well as some more interesting brunch items I’ve never tried. Particularly: * Potato pancakes — Slightly crunchy starchy pancakes. Comes with sour cream and applesauce which work pretty well together. Definitely worth a try! * Hash brown omelette — Not bad, basically hash browns in an omelette. Tasted fine, but prefer more meat in my omelettes.

Hidden around a bend on Bellevue way, Chace’s can be easy to miss. It is probably worth checking out for a decent diner-type brunch but it isn’t anything spectacular. I put my name down and we waited for about 30 mins for a table, which isn’t awful. And because the place is small, the line is almost expected anyway. There’s usually a crowd of people milling about outside in the parking lot, but it’s worth going in to check how far down the list you are, since they don’t always call outside when your table is ready. The menu was more extensive than I expected, but with some really weird items. There is a kids menu, but also a «child’s plate» on the regular menu. There is also the weirdly gender-specific«ladies plate» with less bacon and half the hash browns of a regular plate. Now, really: what kind of lady wants less bacon and hash browns? The range of pancakes is decent, and in addition to the menu there is a specials board out front with other items on it. I had the potato pancakes with sausage links. The sausages weren’t notable at all; they just seemed like the links you get in the store. The potato pancakes were pretty good and came with sour cream and a confusing tub of applesauce(what do you put that on?). He had the pumpkin pancakes and they came with a piece of candy corn on them, cute. Overall our meals were decent sized without being gross amounts of food, and it was reasonably tasty. Service was pretty good as well despite the place being full; our coffees and waters were refilled regularly and our order was taken promptly. There was a considerable wait for the food though. Meals for two people cost about $ 20 before tax and tip. I admit that I was a bit apprehensive given that other Unilocalers had made claims about racism at this place. However, nothing untoward happened, except my meal came out last(we were in a party of 6), and even then I didn’t feel like there was anything insidious about that. The parking lot is small and usually packed around brunchtime. There is a gravel lot next door you can also use. Although the food was decent, I don’t think it was good enough to warrant the wait. If we are in the area we might check it out again. Otherwise, I don’t think we will go out of our way to come back.

Chace’s Pancake Corral is an old-fashioned breakfast place in Bellevue, Washington. I’ve been going here since I was a little kid, since my grandparents live just up the street. I absolutely LOVE the ambiance — It has that perfect neighborhood diner feel! The food: They are known for their«potato pancakes,» but they really do everything so wonderfully that I’m always pleased. Yes, some of it is basic, but c’mon, when the bacon is ALWAYS perfect, you know you’ve got something going for ya. The coffee is always quick, and they do not let your cup get empty! The ladies are awesome, sweet, and treat everybody well, even if they don’t know you. We noticed that they have cleaned up a little bit of the«clutter» of photos on the wall. The place really does have a nice feel to it. If you want to try something interesting, get the potato pancakes with sour cream and applesauce. Hey, don’t knock it til you try it! They always have fun specials, so get a look at those before you sit down. Go on in, grab some pancakes and other breakfast goodies, and chat with your friends and family while guzzling coffee: It’s Victoria Approved.
