Abercrombie & Fitch

Reading all these other reviews made me realize I’m not alone.
Went in last night for some long sleeves and maybe a dress with sis and the bf.
Nobody greeted us. We passed by the employee three or four times total during our visit, NO WAY she didn’t see us.
She was right by the door when we walked out, still nothing. I was so tempted to yell out: thanks! Have a wonderful night!
Now I’m really convinced that A & F does not welcome Asians. Are they aware that Bellevue is over run with my people?

Still the worst customer service ever I came in here once again and I still got treated like crap not only me but it happened with other people too shame on you A&F

I’ve never bought clothing with such a poor quality. I bought shorts and two hoodies. One of the hoodies had a hole on a sleeve. The shorts are red in color and after wearing them for a few days I found that plastic cover of my phone turned pink (it was white before). Same for my car seat — I had to buy leather cleaning wipes to remove pink stains. There is absolutely no way I will shop here again.

no service, sales «models» are a bunch of kids standing there texting to pass time. overpriced clothing with horrible quality, falls apart after the first couple of washes.

Holy moly. The service here is pretty non-​existent except for one girl working there.
All the other sales associates didn’t really know what they were doing. We were there pretty close to closing time so I understand that they probably just wanted to get the heck out of there but the way they were handling customers were not acceptable.
My sister went up to purchase an item and they couldn’t scan one thing. Instead of offering to go and get another one to scan, he told my sister that they couldn’t sell the item. And when she tried to pay with a $ 100.00 bill for $ 60.00 purchase, he said they didn’t have enough cash to give out a change. Really? At Abercrombie close to closing time? Unbelievable.
They probably only hire young kids who look good but they should really think about hiring people who knows how to work in retail and have good customer service.
As for their clothes, I like them. They are bit on the expensive side but I think they are made pretty well but I do hate the smell of the perfume on the clothes.

I just had the worst retail experience at this store. I ordered a pair of shorts online and it came with a security tag on it, so I had to go to the store to get it removed.
When I walked into the store, the alarm when off. I held out the shorts to show the girl at the front of the store and she directed me to the checkout counter. When I got there, I saw that no one was in line, so I walked straight up to the cashier. She pointed her finger towards the other end of the counter and told me the line starts over there. I thought, fine, I’ll just walk round and come back the other way.
In the meantime, some guy walk right up to her, and she rang him up. I waited until she was done with his transaction, then walked up to her counter again and gave her my shorts and receipt. She mumbled something and told me she had to make a phone called to get approval to do that.
What could have taken a minute to a fix, took more than 15 minutes and a whole lot of hassle. Has inhaling all that fume from their perfume damaged their brains? They can’t seem to think logically at all.

I rarely shop at A&F. On boxing day, I visited this location because they are having the male youngsters with six-​pack posting and the ON SALE sign at the foyer. I walked by and sure thing that it’s nice to have a healthy body. A beautiful body is even better. It’s not that easy to see this kind of bodies around Seattle or US.
Anyway, A&F offered quality clothing in fabric wise. But, the design is pretty much the same story since day one.
I could use a tee-​shirt or hoodies and that’s about it. The rest of the stuff are so junior. Of course, there is this huge junior market out there.
BTW, I did not find anything I want even with their «sales on“during this visit.

I always wondered why I had a very negative view of Abercrombie. Stores, like this one, are why. The only Abercrombie store I ever liked was in New York, and it had all of their online stock. My problem with the stores: the only things they seem to have from the website are the jeans. I came in looking for a winter jacket, which they didn’t have. I asked for a few more non-​exclusive items that were on the website. The store didn’t have those either.
Everything this store carries appears to be from last season or plastered in logos. Cut it out! Seriously. I want to try things on before I spent $ 200 on a jacket with a logo on it.

A&F isn’t the first place that comes to my mind when I think of clothes. However, I’ve given them a shot and found the staff to actually be quite friendly to me even though I“m not drop dead hot since I“m like 32. Anyway, I did end up getting two shirts here that I actually like alot. I also don’t ware anything with Abercrombie spelled out all over it. The plaid shirts I got here though are great. The reason I guess I decided to finally review them is this weekend I was in here getting sandals and they were having a sale. They added an extra % to it even yahoo! At first I wasn’t going to get it, then the girl told me when I asked her how much it might be at %30 percent. She said she could check it then after she told me I asked if she could check a different one too that I liked also. She did and told me the prices of both, she also told me ahead the one on the top shelf might not come up since the tag was on the bottom, really good. I liked both One of the sandals had a jeans type material on it that was really neat. I asked her which she thought was the better pair and without thinking the most expensive one she gave me a really honest opinion without just thinking of the price.
A&F I know isn’t known for sandals. To my surprise, these are the most comfortable ones I’ve gotten ever. Thats why I thought to write this to let you guys know if you shop here and like going to the beach or swimming you should totally think about getting them. The leather ones were really great and really amazingly comfortable on my feet!
All in all A&F isn’t a place I expect to get customer service when I shop. Sometimes I’ve walked in the store and without doing anything a woman says are you finding everything ok instead of do you need help finding anything; or they tell you about there email but not tell you why you should get it. But overall even though its pricey I’ve liked the shirts, underwear and sandals I got here. The staff at this location do make a good effort to help.

Their sale section isn’t as good as the DownTown A&F location.
I must say though, this store is very big but lacking the good stuff from people to shop, (The clearance /​marked down items.)
But i did meet one of the managers or was she a Assistant manger that graduated from Punnaho and we chit chatted for a little bit. She was very very helpful with helping me find some jeans on the clearance wall.
I’ll be stopping by if I’m in the area but i think downtown has the better stuff on clearance.

My rating of one star screams: Eek! Me thinks not. YEAH, seriously, me thinks not!
I walked in here before I checked into the Hyatt for a conference, and I was just looking around to see if anything was nice to buy before I had surrendered my weekend of no shopping for a business conference.
The only reason why I left in a hurry was because this guy who was working there, towered over me and kept giving me a: ‘What are you doing here? Get out, can you even afford anything here?’ look. I’m just thinking in my head: well, excuse me, but uhm, my jeans cost more than your whole outfit and you don’t even know who I am. So, think twice next time…
And I will never step foot in this store again just like how I’m never going to step foot into the Footlocker at Westlake

Now I remember why I don’t spend my money here.

I was treated very rudely by one employee, which totally set me off. One other employee saved my shopping experience, and was a total sweetheart.
Too bad I love their jeggings. Their employees need a serious attitude check if they want people to continue shopping here.
Come into the store to try on things for size reference, but keep your orders limited to online shopping.

What is it about A&F stores being ridiculously perfumed with that cheap, disgusting scent? Where is that stuff coming from?
What is it about A&F stores being so goddamn dark? Is it so you can’t tell how cheap and thin that shirt you just bought is until you take it home?
And on that note, What is it about A&F clothes being so thin? Is everything meant to be layered or am I just to modest, not to want my bra showing through my shirt?
What is it about every A&F item having their logo all over it? Are the clothes just not cute enough to speak for themselves?
What is it about the A&F employees who look at you and walk away, without so much as a greeting? Are we instantly in high school the minute we walk into this store?

Well as great as it is when you can be twenty feet away on the upper level of the mall and smell that you’re approaching a store, I still am not down with Abercrombie & Fitch.
The few times I’ve ventured in here have been with my boyfriend. He looks for shirts and sweatshirts from here. He’s gotten some okay stuff, but now that he’s stocked up on a few shirts and hoodies there’s no new merchandise to choose from. It’s like everything is some variation of the same thing.
I attempted to find some jeans for myself one time, and they let me stand for like ten minutes by some out of service dressing rooms without notifying me, even the girl restocking racks nearby. Finally I wandered over to ask her about it and she looked at me like I was stupid. Then the jeans didn’t fit. None of them. Not any of the like 5 different sizes I brought back.
So thank you Abercrombie, you flare up my allergies and make me feel inadequate and unattractive. A few of my favorite things!
[side note: I’ve known people who work here, and they DO routinely spray their clothes with cologne twice a day, swear to God]

I have never shopped here for myself, but I have lots of skinny friends who have bought their crap.
True story kiddos:
Me and a friend walk into the A&F at Bellevue Square. She: 5 foot short and a little curvey. Me: 6 foot gargantuan and (at the time) about average frame.
She starts looking through the sale racks and picks a camisole. She trys it on and it’s a bit tight, since it’s a medium. She sees a salesgirl walking by.
Salesgirl: 5 foot something skinny, fake tan, gum-​smacking 16 year-​old.
She: Do you have this in the next larger size?
Salesgirl (looks her up and down, looks at me): I really don’t think so.
She: Are you sure? Maybe there’s one in the back?
Salesgirl (smacks gum and does the up-​dowm look again): uhm, we don’t make clothes for fat people.
