1805 Barber Style

Once again, perfect cut right before yet another wedding. I travel a lot and it’s nice to have a spot I can pop into within days of a request not to mention in the afternoon so I miss traffic in Bellevue/​Seattle which is an absolute joke for those that have never been here or don’t live here. Clean and proper, new man ready to conquer the globe. Thanks for all that you do and who you are Katrina.

Received a great new haircut style and first ever beard trim with Katrina at 1805 yesterday.
I had grown a month’s worth of facial hair towards my first beard and mustache. I looked around for awhile to find someone who could do an initial beard shaping for me and also design a new haircut for me to match.
Katrina exceeded expectations!
I now look respectable again in the office with my new haircut and trimmed beard. Katrina really spent quite a bit of time in the consultation and designing my new look to match what was there to work with. It turned out better than I expected and am glad I took the risk and tried a new barber. Oh and props for offering to rinse my hair out afterwards instead of before the haircut without me having to ask — I hate having the itchies after a haircut!
The 1805 shop itself is a nicely designed, quiet, fully little walled-​off space inside a co-​op type place where there are a number of independent salon and other type little micro businesses operating. I’d never seen something quite like this but I think it is a great concept. Because it’s a private space with a door, it’s so much quieter than being in a large or mid-​size salon. Very easy to quickly relax.
I’ll definitely be back. Quick tip: park around in the back of the building. The entrance to 206 is from the back parking lot, no way in from the front street side parking lot without walking around to the back.

I’ve been going to Katrina for years and can easily say she is the best hair stylist I have ever found! Going to see her is always more than just a haircut. She is amazingly friendly and so personable, I’m always excited to make an appointment.
Originally, I wanted to try a new hairstyle and Katrina accomplished a style that I absolutely love. From the great conversation, to the hot towel and hand massage — there is no one better than Katrina!
