I’m the only person here and no one is paying attention to me. Even the girl doing my mani and pedi is busy having a conversation. I ask for cash back on my card so I can tip. They did this last time I was here, but this time they couldn’t. I ask if I can tip on my card. They say yes. But when I get the receipt they already rang me up for $ 11 more. So I tipped, not by choice, 50% on a mediocre mani and pedi. The worst was the worker who literally laughed at the situation. I had to actually tell her it wasn’t funny. Never again. Go to a nicer salon in nutley on Franklin Ave.

The only reason she’s getting one star is because I cannot give her NO stars. My friend and I planned to come in on a Saturday afternoon. My friend is a regular and called several hours ahead and made an appointment for herself with her regular girl and added me in the THEAPPOINTMENT with whomever was available. When we arrived, her regular girl took her right away and they left me sitting there, with 4 other women who were walk ins. After 30 min of waiting, I asked the owner why I was still waiting when I had an appointment and she nastily mumbled«you have wait, other people’. I’m sorry but that’s the POINT of an ‘APPOINTMENT’. Clearly Mickey, has no idea what that means. 15 more minutes went by and when I finally was picked up by someone I had to call to come get me(because I’d come in with my friend), I got up a second time and told her that she doesn’t know how to do business, that there’s no point in making appointments if you’re not going to honor them and that she’s lost my business. All she had to say was ‘okay. okay. okay’. No apology, no remorse, nothing. I have no idea how she stays in business. And quite frankly, the place didn’t look very clean anyway. I will not be back and unless you enjoy being treated poorly, I would suggest you stay FARFARAWAY. Nail salons are a dime a dozen.

Totally unprofessional. They even include a 20% tip with pedicure and manicure with gel. Who obligates a tip? 20%? Tips should he earned.

I never write reviews but the owner and workers here were disrespectful and unprofessional. The owner of the salon Mickey did my nails and by the end of the day the«gel» tips melted off. I went back the following day when & Mickey was not there however another woman said she would fix mickeys mistake. She ended up charging me MORE than the prior day. When I asked why I was being charged for the salons mistake at all, she apologized and told me to go the next say day when micky would be back to get«salon credit». The next day I went and explained the situation to Micky and how I was wrongfully charged and she said she would remeber me and next time my gel fill in would be free because I would be receiving«salon credit.» Sure enough I went back 2 weeks later and to my surprise she said she would not be able to credit me. Her and another worker even teamed up and called me a liar! Even after I had showen them pictures! I am not the only one that has complained about their full sets being poorly done and one of my friends even got a fungus from their salon. NEVERAGAIN. These people need to learn it is unprofessional to accuse a customer of their mistake!

This place always looks quite and not busy, so when I came in with a friend on a Sunday afternoon, I didn’t expect to wait. Yet right after us about 6 other women walked in and with only 3 manicurists on staff, there was about an hour wait! Thankfully they do take their time, and are very friendly. There is a little latina woman that does your pedicures and does a wonderful job! I felt completely pampered. I’m glad that they didn’t rush my experience to take care of the growing wait line. I would definitely return! Mani/Pedi = $ 27(Mon — wed = $ 22), Pedi alone was $ 20.
