Day 1 of my food truck adventures.
I needed some quick food before class, so I went down Warren St. in search of food trucks. Since a few of these trucks had lines, I decided to walk down a little further and stopped at Big Rod’s. I asked the guy what people normally ordered, and he replied that today’s sandwich was the Chicken gyro, so I went with that. Well, let’s just first say I was really hungry – maybe not like 3rd world country kid hungry – but I could hear my stomach growl… And, despite this hunger, the Chicken gyro did not satisfy me – the pita and chicken were a bit dry and not warm. I’m giving the food 2 stars and service 4 stars since he was ready to pack up and leave when I ordered.
