Belle-Clair Fairgrounds Park Incorporated

Every year the weekend after thanksgiving, myself and my family make the trek over to Belleville for the annual craft fair. Now, I can only write about this place in terms of this fair because I only come over here for this.
The grounds are pretty well kept and the building is quite large, great for fairs and I assume the county fairs that are held there.

I had not been to the monthly Flea Market it years. When a friend suggested we go, I said Sure. When it is busy they have people directing traffic and parking. We got a spot, grabbed our cash and headed into the frenzy. It was well attended today, I am assuming because the weather was decent. We started on the outside buildings. I think these people have been in those spots for years. Two out of three of the vendors were willing to barter, I thought that was the fun of a flea market. We started out good and made our way into the building. There is always enough room for a few people to walk between the booths. I found all of the vendors that I interacted with were friendly, even a few of the attendees were into have a conversation. I had to use the restroom. They were clean, plenty of toilet paper and hot running water.

I love going to the Dirt Track here to watch Late Models, Modified’s and pretty much anything that runs on alcohol, and trust me more than just the cars are running on it here.
The food here is just OK, I wouldn’t consider it on par with anything on the outside but it works when you just got off work and headed to the track. Trust me you will have heartburn later.
The facilities are pretty red neck and not that great. Personally I hate whipping my junk out in troff urinal, it is just not that pleasant.
The racing here is always awesome, I love the short track here because it makes for some very interesting racing. My favorites are the Modified’s they are fast and loud, and the sweet smell from the motor lubrication they use is intoxicating. wait what am I reviewing?
Oh yeah racing, well for most any guy this track will get your motor running, I love feeling 800HP blasting you in the chest from less than 20 feet away, oh yeah and the occasional mud ball. Definitely bring safety glasses and ear plugs if you don’t want to loose your hearing or get dust in your eyes.
I think some Pro racers even show up sometimes to race with the average guys, Kinda cool if you ask me.
