The pizza here was not good. We found the sauce sweet, the cheese over loaded and the dough tasteless. This neighborhood has horrible pizza.

Got an awesome deal on Unilocal’s ! I got so much food I feel like I stole it. 2 pizza’s(deal said lg pies but I swear they are xlg size) 10 boneless(there were actually only 9 in the package) wings and a lg salad w/dressing(I asked for blue cheese, but got italian-not to fear; the wings came with blue cheese) :-). All for $ 27 w/tax — awesome for a friday dinner. I’d never eaten here and just went for the deal but my fiancé and I really enjoyed the food and we’ll order from here again.

If you want authentic Italian pizza, this is the place. The white slice is heaven sent. The Zeppoles are exquisite and fresh. The Zucchini fries are a must. I won’t trust any other pizzeria in the neighborhood but Palermo’s. Our family movie night isn’t complete with out a pie, an order of garlic knots and a few other sides. Since I live a few blocks away, I call the order in for pick up and it is always ready on time and still warm when I get home. No attitude. No frills. Just pizza and yummy goodness. I highly recommend Palermo.

Very under rated. Palermo has a great selection or specialty pizza and all delicious! I would highly recommend the buffalo-chicken slice, very spicy! The staff is very friendly and always in a good mood. Compared to other pizzerias in the neighborhood, I would most definitely come here instead.

Quite and sparse in population, I walked the Belrose section of Jericho Tpke in search of a quick and cheap bite for an late breakfast or early lunch. Not familiar with any other pizza spots in the area, a comparative analysis must wait, but for the sake of time and effort, here’s my quick shoe string review. Price: The $ 2.50 slice is here to stay folks. Ambiance: Clean and organized, a bright open space. Pizza: Quality cheese, sauce was a bit watery and lacked much character. Employees: Very nice folks from front to back. Definately a 3.5 star experience. Definately a slice to try if your in the general vicinity.

Love these guys! They were so sweet and helpful! Sal even recommended a good wine for us to enjoy our dinner with. Very rare to find a pizzeria like this!

Best overall pizza place in Bellerose, especially on Jericho Tpke. There are alternate choices on Braddock Ave and Hillside Ave nearby but Palermo has never disappointed me. Their garlic knots are perfect. Chicken rolls and baked ziti are a good alternative to their pizza. Excellent customer service, very friendly and family owned business it seems. Any pasta dish comes with a salad, awesome deal.

The pizza is okay. Nothing great about this place. I didn’t hate it but didn’t love it.

Meh. Nothing really special. I guess if you live in the area you can order from this place. No true Sicilian specials like Panelle and etc. The only thing reminiscent of Palermo was the puppet soldiers they have hanging in a corner. Like a said, a safe bet for locals but I wouldn’t go out of my way. The guy behind the counter was super nice tho. Step up your selection of Sicilian specials if you’re gonna name your place Palermo

Delivery was fast and the delivery guy was very nice. I like that you can order online. But the food wasn’t great. We ordered their 2 pizza+wings+side salad for $ 25, which is a great deal but the pizza and wings were disappointing. The side salad, however, was better than most side salads.

I grew up on Gaby’s on hillside, nothing could compare, but then they changed and I decided to look for another pizzeria. I’m glad I found Palermo! Better than Gaby’s ever was, best pizza I’ve ever tasted, great food overall, and the staff is very very friendly! I’ve told a lot of people of Palermo and they’ve all agreed how great it is.

I’ve order pizza pies from this place every week(for my work staff) for a few years now. Hands down, the best pizza in the area. I’ve tried them all, as I am a bit of a fanatic when it comes to pizza. Their specials are a great value, and the owners and staff are courteous and friendly too. Palermo’s is tops!
