We are an hourly drop-​off childcare facility that provides a safe, playful, and fun environment for children ages 18 months to 12 years old.

Let Us Play is staffed with devoted and dependable Caregivers who are committed to ensuring that each child’s needs are met in an environment that is joyful, safe, and secure. We want each child to enjoy their visit at Let Us Play and each parent to feel confident that their child is well cared for while in our facility. All of our Caregivers are certified in CPR and First Aid, attend annual child-​care training courses, and are prescreened with criminal history, background, and fingerprint reports.

Our variety of fun and entertaining activities for your children include arts and crafts, imaginary play area, reading and story time, board games and puzzles, disco and music, movie center, and more!

Let Us Play does not require contracts or commitment obligations, allowing flexibility and freedom. Let Us Play has flexible drop-​off times, convenient hours and a pay-​as-​needed system!

Mindy has been the owner of Let Us Play since 2014. Before that she was a private school principal for 25 years. She absolutely loves children, and that’s what led her to Let Us Play!

Life saver they are very attentive! Have been going for 21⁄2 years and both my kids still get excited when they go it is however more fun for your children if you schedule times with their playmates! Thank you so much Mindy for all your hard work! It is much appreciated:)

I have been taking my kids since they were old enough to attend. I have used Let Us Play on weekends (my kids LOVE the dance parties!) and during the day… I love that when I just need a break, I can drop in! I saw that someone posted about too many kids… I have actually been turned down when the ratio was too high. It’s something to be on the look out for, but I have never encountered that. Like I said, if there are too many kids, the owner has said they are too full and I should call next time. My daughter loves the crafts, and i love that they help her with homework after school. They provide snacks free of charge, and water, and will order dinner upon request… Not like other places that make you place the order by a certain time or you are out of luck. To my knowledge, there isn’t anywhere else like this in the area! Sometimes I just drop my kids to shop next door at HEB! I would spend more that the cost in the junk food my kids throw in the basket! Haha!

This place is terrible!!!
The owner seams nice, she says she is a former school principal who is always there taking care of children herself… Not true!
Every time I picked up my little one there was just ONE young girl at the computer, not even watching the kids…
One day this girl put my 3 year old boy to clean the restroom floor «because he leaked a little bit» (she said that). You know little ones use to have leaks so most probably my boy cleaned someone else’s pee too… This is NOT ACCEPTABLE, I was a school teacher and body fluids should be treated as if they were contaminated according to the School District regulations, ONLY TRAINED ADULTS should clean them up!!!
After that day, my boy avoided to use the restroom, 2 days after he had an accident and the «care giver» DID NOT CHANGE HIS CLOTHES EVEN WHEN MY BOY ASKED HER AND SHOWED HER HIS CLEAN CLOTHES. She left him all wet and cold until I arrived (1 hour after)!!!
Her excuse… «Yes it was my fault, I did not see the clothes». BS, my boy showed her the clothes…
Next day I spoke with the owner, she just said «Oh, I’m sure it was just a little mistake, she is sooo sweet with kids…»
Of course, my boy never came back…
One more thing, the toys are sticky and costumes dirty.
AVOID THIS PLACE, DON’T LET YOU FOOL BY THE OWNER!!!

I love Let Us Play as an option for us to use when our kid’s school is closed for holidays and summer. We’ve used it for date nights and weekends when we need to run a few errands as well. It is extremely convenient and my kids love it.
It is what it is — a drop in daycare. No frills. Its basically a large room with lots of toys, a tv, an area where meals/​snacks are served. I have been in at times where there seems to be too many kids to one adult but I know that they have more staff that come in at different times of the day. I wouldnt bring my kids here every day as their primary care as there is very little structure and its basically a bunch of kiddos running around — but for a couple hours its great. 5 stars if they had more staff and structured activities.

When I picked up my child today, there was only ONE caregiver for SIXTEEN children. Completely unacceptable no matter what reason they had. This puts children in danger and falls outside of Texas guidelines.
I will never take my child here again — and if you value your children, you shouldn’t either.

I have been taking my twin sons to Let Us Play since they turned 18 months. They are now 21 months. I wanted to get them acclimated to playing with other kids besides each other, and also, for them to get used to being separated from mommy. I can’t say enough positive things about Mindy and her staff. They treat my sons as if they were their own. I 100% trust them to watch my kids. My kids go Monday — Friday for a few hours each day, and I wouldn’t want to take them anywhere else.
I pack my kids a lunch each day or you can order food through them from a restaurant next door. They make sure the kids eat well. They also provide a few snacks. My boys never want to leave when I come to pick them up. I just love the whole place, and again, the entire staff is amazing and so sweet. We will be using Let Us Play for years to come!!! Thanks, Mindy & staff!

I have been using Let Us Play since they opened in their new location. Let me tell you, it is just great. My kids (ages 3 & 4) love it there. They get to play with other kids, there are tons of games and toys, the caregivers are young and fun (but I am never even slightly worried about the ability to handle the kids). Its way more fun then having a sitter in our house for them.
I really like that it is a true drop in center. There is no naps (unless your child needs to sleep and they have mats) or specific meal schedules. I really can drop them off on my own schedule and not have to worry about fitting in with their template. I usually bring them a meal and they just ask for it when they are hungry. Let Us Play provides snacks for the kids, and they love that. The down side to it being a true drop in center is they have to limit the stay to 4 hours. There have been times I have had to race back to make the time limit, but its a worthwhile trade off. I know if I will be longer, I need to get a sitter.
I just discovered that Saturday nights they have a dance party, order pizza and pop pop corn and watch a movie. My kids were in HEAVEN. I picked them up too early thinking they would be ready to race home to bed. Next time we are going to stay out later and let them have a fun night too!
