I love this place! The inside of the shop may not be to appealing but the pizza is the best pizza I’ve tasted so far. Every since I started coming here a few months ago I don’t even order Pizza Hut or dominos anymore. Firehouse pizza is really good.

A coworker brought pizza for lunch from the night before. She asked if I wanted a slice. Being greedy in nature I said yes… and boy was THAT the best decision in life by far! This heavenly slice was called«Southwest chicken«. The pizza consists of: grilled chicken, tomatoes, onions, bell pepper and jalapeños. These folks are not shy with cheese, very generous! That very evening after work I ordered a medium pie. It was ready in 15min, fresh and hot!

Had this pizza at a birthday party at Pump it Up. Loved it. Reminded me of the pizza I had as a kid. I think it’s something to do with the cheese. Then again, someone else compared it to Papa Gino’s and that’s what I had as a kid…

We order from here at work quite a bit and it’s usually good. I decided to give their delivery a try one Saturday evening. When I called in, I had to explain three times that I wanted to place a delivery order, then I had to give my address and phone number three times, then tell the girl my order four times. One whole hour later, my pizza shows up overcooked, soaking in grease, and smashed up to one end of the pizza box. No thanks…

Unfortunately I never even made it into to this place because when I called to ask a question and spoke to the«manager» Ivan, he did not know the meaning of the word ‘dairy’. He kept thinking I was saying berries. So I clarified the word dairy and he openly admitted that he did not know the meaning of the word. That is quite concerning. Guess I won’t be eating there. :((

When I first walked in I thought this place was abandoned — had it not been for the guy sitting watch what sounds like Russian soap operas. My friend and I ordered and sat down — 10 minutes later I had my personal mushroom pizza! The pizza here is absolutely a step up from Dominos, even if it’s not the best pizza I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but if I’m in the area and craving pizza…

Well, I’m always willing to give the local guys a try, so I figured why not when I saw this place– I didn’t feel like cooking tonight anyways. Also, I noticed a disturbing lack of reviews for this place online and most of the time it was the same review posted on a bunch of different places. You walk in and if it wasn’t for the hot oven radiating the place, I’d have thought it was shut down. The concrete floors is cracked and shows evidence that at one time there was tile, long since scraped up. There’s a cooler when you enter where you would think drinks would be-nope, empty, not turned on. There’s one of those 25 cent candy machines but who knows how long the skittles have been here. There is *SOME* semblance of them not just being a front for whatever. As the name implies, they have Firehouse pictures and it looks like the lot they are in used to be a fire station as some pictures indicate. Ok, so the ambiance isn’t quite there-that’s alright-I’m here for the pizza. I called in my order and the guy said 10 minutes. I walked in about fifteen minutes later expecting to pick it up and I see the girl behind the counter putting the pepperoni on my pizza(ordered the powerhouse pepperoni). Confused, I ask where my pizza is at-she says she’s making it. I say«Oh, I called 15 minutes ago and the guy that answered said ‘ten minutes’» She shook her head and said«He always says ten minutes.» So I waited and started drafting this review! Got the pizza very quickly after that and took it home. Powerhouse pepperoni-holy crap they weren’t kidding. They seriously loaded every square inch with a slice of pepperoni. Some people might like that. In fact, my wife LOVES pepperoni and I do too. However, this was a gut bomb waiting to happen. I tried one slice and it was pretty greasy. So I went to take the pepperoni off of another slice. Welp, the pepperoni slice came off, along with every other slice AND the cheese, leaving behind a slice of pizza with absolutely nothing on it except for a bit of sauce, a lot of grease, and a soggy crust soaked with more grease. Alright, so maybe it was my fault ordering a powerhouse pepperoni and not expecting them to completely overdo the pepperoni-I’ll take that hit. So the consistency of the pizza-it’s really not bad all in all. It tastes similar to Sbarros in the mall or Papa Gino’s for those from New England. Once again, not bad-but nothing to write home about. Also, the large pizza, since it was a specialty-was $ 16. Way more than you would spend at most other places. Will I go back? Probably not. I like to support the local guys, but after trying this place, La Fresca pizza, and Angelo’s pizza by my house-I’m out of local guys.
