I really, really wanted to do this. So when Groupon had a DriveTech offer, I jumped on it. Every year I try to do something exciting for my birthday, and so I figured this would be perfect.
Well, nearly a month before my birthday, I followed the instructions on my Groupon and emailed them to set it up. Waited about a week; no response. Emailed again, waited another week; no response. Went to their website, found contact info there; no response.
Contacted Groupon, who contacted DriveTech for me; waited another week, heard from Groupon that they’d gotten no response.
Now it’s my birthday and I need to make other, last-​minute, plans.
This sucks so much.
Update: June 18, 2011: Months later, I have still never heard from anyone. Not sure why they seem to have ignored me and responded to others. Still really sucks. Groupon issued me a refund at least, but still. I wanted to race!
