We used Aussie pet mobile for our cat several times and one day I got a phone call out of the blue from the owner. He said that one of his other regular cat customers, who had been a client for years, called to complain the cat got some disease from the truck. He said my cat was groomed prior to that cat so my cat must have given the cat the disease. I think it was Feline Leukemia if my memory is right. The owner said that the client’s cat was an indoor cat only but didn’t have regular vet checkups but had always been healthy. My cat is indoor only as well and has annual checkups(which has included feline leukemia and she was negative). So I called my vet in a panic to see if my cat could have gotten infected too if the van wasn’t clean. He said it was highly unlikely unless the cats had been together which they hadn’t been. So obviously I called the owner back and updated him that the other cat was most likely already infected just with no symptoms. Maybe he should have done a little research before he called and told me my cat has given someone else’s a disease when it isn’t true. How many other people did he call and blame for giving this other lady’s cat a disease? Great way to lose clients! I won’t be calling them again! As for the grooming, it was ok but super expensive, double the price of taking my cat to another groomer.
