I took my car in to quickly have a tail light replaced. $ 36 they tell me! Ok, I have to be someone so I just get it done. I grab some lunch and cine back and they tell me the other light was out also so they replaced that one without asking me first! The real surprise is when I get the bill and it’s $ 80. Those lightbulbs cost under $ 5 each and I have never paid near $ 80 to replace bulbs. Stay away!

One of the most dishonest people I have ever encountered when needed a car service. I don’t live in the area but I had to take a detour on my way from Philadelphia to DC due to an issue with my rear brakes. It was sunday before Labor day and this place was one of few that was open that day so I just went there without looking further. My car is a 3 year old certified Toyota Camry which just needed a new brake pad on the rear left side. That was the whole problem. They knew that I had just got off the I-​95 and needed immediate service to get to my destination and right, they tried to ripped me off nicely. I refused their overpriced parts and service, and asked them to put the wheels back and let me go. The manager of the shop said that they are one of the most honest service centers in the area (although integrity is a rare thing you find in mechanics’ in most places) I am not ever going to this location or any other nearby ever again.

Awful. They over rate their own labor to overcharge. Buyer beware. Seriously considering filing complaint against them. Get cheaper and more professional service next door at Pep Boys.
