I went to this ExpressCare location on the other side of Bel Air off Route 543 in 2014, 6 months after having my daughter, with the assistance of my father, while my husband was at work, in pain, and literally, barely able to walk or stand(had almost dropped my baby from so much leg pain and had to go somewhere quick) and they misdiagnosed me at this location with sciatica, gave me no pain medication for relief, but gave me steroids and muscle relaxers. Because of the incorrect diagnosis, lack of recommending follow up care with a specialist or taking/suggesting I get x-rays/MRI’s, it got worse, and I ended up at the ER. By the time I got to the specialist, who actually gave me pain relief medication and had me get MRI’s, it turned out I was trying to stand on a fractured pelvis for almost two months. In other words, this place hires complete hacks and is worthless. I can’t even believe these people passed any kind of schooling or certifications or got degrees in any fields related to medicine. I will never go to one of these again. I will stay at home in pain in miserable, waiting for the PCP or specialist if I have to, or go to the ER again if a circumstance becomes dire, but I am done with this place!

I used Express Care on June 10th because my son broke his finger. The place was new and looked quicker than the ER. The girl took my insurance information and said that I had not paid my deductible and I had to pay $ 65.00 to be seen. I knew she was WRONG and I kept insisting that my insurance doesn’t have a deductible. But I wanted my son to be seen so I paid it. Big mistake! I should have walked out and went to the ER. It is October 21, 2015 and I had to call this poorly run company over ten times trying to get my money refunded. I was initially told the refund would take 6 to 8 weeks to process? WHAT? Seriously? So as of today I still have NOT received my refund of 65.00! This place is a rip off! I would not recommend Express Care unless you have the state medical insurance and then it’s free. Now it’s the principal of the matter! It NOT your money and your company made the error! Send me my money!

I always hesitate to review a medical facility, especially an urgent care facility. A patient’s experience at one of them depends upon so many factors that can’t be replicated between patients. However, I had such a good experience here I have to write something. Remember, this is not a recommendation, but a chronicle of my experience here. The day before Christmas Eve, my son woke up from his nap with a low grade temperature and a nasty cough. After a few hours and some acetaminophen he was even worse. My brother-in-law had taken my niece here before, so he suggested we try it out. When we got there and said that our son might be having some trouble breathing, a nurse was out almost immediately to check his blood oxygenation, which turned out to be just about normal. Even though there wasn’t immediate danger, they got him back quickly and ran some tests. Both the nurse and the doctor were very good with my sick kid and there was no crying beyond the sick kid crying. Turns out the little guy had the flu, even though he had his flu shot. Not the greatest Christmas gift, but at least we got to nip it in the bud early.
