Walking in to the place I immediately thought 2 stars. But you know what– I gave them a chance and actually ended up liking the place. It seems like your average Main Street, USA bar. And it is. The two barkeeps that helped my pal and I were both extremely kind and idiosyncratic. The elderly gent wore a Colts old-fashioned leather football helmet which was awesome. The she-bartender asked us about what brought us in and was very kind. The beer selection was poor. But cheap. $ 1.75 for a pint of Killian’s was the best option. The neatest thing about the joint was the stuff on the walls. Cool posters about their beer sales from a million years ago, nifty advertisements from history, and all sorts of objets d’art surround you as you sit at the bar. Too bad about the draught choices though. Oh well.
