The staff is always very helpful and knowledgable. They never seem bothered if you are just looking. The pricing is on the lower end of gun shops in the area. Any time I buy a gun here I am confident that I am getting a good price.

Nice little shop here. The best firing range available in South Indy, period. You feel safe and at ease when shopping/​shooting here, and it doesn’t look like the lanes are going to fall apart like it does in other locations. This became my go-​to location for shooting when my wife and I lived locally. Store clerks and personnel could use a little personality, but some of them were nice enough.

Their store is the best place to buy a gun and their firing range is the best place to shoot it. Period. You can buy and shoot guns anywhere but the difference here is the people. They answer questions and teach you without making you feel like an idiot. Clean facility. Safety first. Plus on top of their great service, I have not seen anyone beat their prices. Love it. Ok, review done, now let’s go shooting.

This Is a five star review based only on the range! I admit I’ve never bought anything from the store here so I can not comment on that aspect. But the range is really as good as an in door range can be. The whole thing is the best ventilated establishment I’ve shot in. Lanes are capable of taking hand gun, rifle and shotgun loads. Staff is friendly and safety oriented. No complaints here or from the 10 or so friends I’ve taken here. Love to shoot here

Visiting Beech Grove on business. Me & a friend had time to visit this store & I will tell you, we were pretty happy with beech grove firearms. Nice range, knowledgable staff, fair prices, gun rentals, & nice selection. Nice to see some female enthusiasts shooting & enjoying themselves as well.

The best gun shop and range in the Indianapolis area that I have found. The staff on hand is very pleasant and knowledgable. BGFA is also family owned and operated which is nice so I can support local business.
The range is 20 lanes wide by 25 yards long. It is all electronically controlled. They keep it at a comfortable temp, so you can take you jacket off if it’s cold outdoors. You can shoot pistol, shotgun & rifle there as well. I wanna say calibers you can use are are pistol and rifle calibers under .300WM and for shotgun the biggest is 10ga. You might wanna call to confirm that. The range prices are $ 10 for half hour or $ 15 for an hour. If you have an additional shooter I believe that person is half off.
It’s a nice facility and a great gun shot.

Beech Grove Firearms has an amazing selection of firearms: handguns, shotguns, rifles, you name it, they have it. They deal in reputable brands such as Smith and Wesson, Glock, Sig Sauer, Colt, and Ruger. A myriad of high quality ammunition and accessories (i.e. laser sights, holsters, scopes, grips, and cleaning supplies) are also readily available at the shop. Beech Grove Firearms, in my experience, makes every attempt to keep prices low for the customer, and never nickel-​and-​dime. Purchasing a firearm from them is a very satisfying experience.
One of the greatest assets of Beech Grove Firearms is its staff, many of whom are current and former law enforcement officers. However, regardless of whether an individual staff member has law enforcement experience, all are highly trained firearms professionals. As someone who has had a great deal of firearms training, I still appreciate the fact that the staff reviews the safety features of the particular weapon that they are selling to their customer. This is the mark of a responsible and caring dealer. On a personal level, I know that the Beech Grove Firearms staff members are especially kind to novices who are just entering the realm of gun ownership. I recently referred several of my family members, who had recently become victims of a crime, to the store. Before that time, they had never owned a defensive firearm, and they were nervous about the process. Once in the store, their minds were put at ease, they found the perfect weapons, and have certainly been guided in the right direction. Above all, the staff is polite. I’ve been into too many other gun shops where the staff uses high pressure tactics in order to make a sale, and worse, make the customer feel like an idiot. This has not been my experience at Beech Grove Firearms.
One cannot mention Beech Grove Firearms without giving accolades to their top-​notch, best-​in-​the-​city, state-​of-​the-​art firing range. The range features 20 immaculate lanes, on which the shooter can fire handguns, shotguns, and even high powered rifles (although some caliber restrictions do apply). Safety is the top priority at this range, and range officers are always on hand. Inappropriate behavior is simply not tolerated. Beech Grove Firearms also offers a plethora of classes, aimed at the both the novice and experienced shooter.
Upon making a recent purchase, a staff member said, «We appreciate your business. See you next time.» Well, Beech Grove Firearms, I appreciate doing business with you, and I look forward to many «next times.»

After going to a few different ranges, I have to say that none top this. The ventilation is excellent and probably most important. Other indoor ranges get so bad that my sinuses are inflamed and black stuff is up my nose. The electronically controlled target system is awesome. They always have friendly staff ready to provide advice if you want it. They don’t gouge on price for ammo. It is more expensive by a few bucks than a couple other places, but I think it is worth it. They are also starting a rental program, but I haven’t taken advantage of that, yet.

The range is nothing short of PERFECT!
The store itself has been open for 5 years I believe, but the range just opened this past December. They did a superb job!
Cost: They charge by the ½ hour which is pretty nice. $ 12 might be on the pricier side for a half-​hour, but really, you get what you pay for! You also get a free target to shoot with which is nice.
Range: 25 lanes if I’m not mistaken, which is great for larger parties that want to shoot. You can also reserve a party if you want which is something you usually can’t do. They also have motorized target system where you can specifically place how far away you want your target to be (in yards) which I love.
Staff: They are great. They are super helpful, funny, caring, and not judgmental. The first time I went there, a man named Steve stood behind me and watched me shoot and gave me a few pointers (free of charge out of the kindness of his heart!)
Ammo: You can only buy 2 boxes at a time, but I love that their prices aren’t crazy unreasonable (especially now-​a-​days!). I go there and buy 2 every time even though I bring my own ammo.
–They said they are soon going to offer classes soon which is another plus.
–They currently don’t have guns to rent and shoot, but they said they ordered some and it should be coming in soon.
–They don’t have membership, but if you go 10 times, your 11^th time is free (they give you a business card that they hole punch every time)
I’d definitely recommend trying this place out!

The new location is well appointed, and well staffed with helpful, knowledgeable sales and customer service staff.
The range is absolutely first rate. 25 lanes. Indoor, climate controlled, outstanding air quality system, and motorized target retrieval system. The people at this business put other Indianapolis area retail outlets to shame. (I’m looking at you, Don’s and Pop Guns.)
BGF does sell ammunition for use on their range, and they do not gouge on prices.
Due to recent panic buying, the selection leaves just a little to be desired, but that is not due to bad business practices at BGF. All firearms retailers, both brick/​mortar and online are suffering from severe shortages of inventory. Even with the existing supply shortage, they do not impose excessive markups on their goods. Every firearm I’ve purchased here has been at or below suggested manufacturers market value.
In short, this is the only indoor range in Indy that I’ll ever patronize. They clearly understand the value of good customer service.

This is a top notch gun range. You actually feel comfortable there and not like you are going to get shot by another «patron». They have range safety officers on duty, and it is a very clean range. I’m even going to bring my wife on my next trip!
