History

Established in 2014.

The Diva girls have been extensively trained the Vidal Sasson method and have worked the blow dry bar at the salon for a minimum of 4 months before going out on the town.

Business Owner

Katie Sassen was born in Santa Monica, CA and raised mostly in Northern California. At the age of ten, Katie discovered that she had a real talent for hair styling and a passion for beauty. When she graduated high school, Katie could hardly wait to get started fullfilling her life long dream and become a hair artist. She attended cosmetology school in 1989 in Illinois. After five years in the industry, she decided to continue her education and attend Vidal Sasson Academy in Santa Monica, CA. As an adult, she went back to Hollywood to fulfill her dream of working with celebrities. In 2005, Katie discovered she had an eye for fashion, and so she designed and created her own clothing line, «Sassen». She had her line in boutiques in a variety of cities such as Melrose, Beverly Hills, Venice, Laguna Beach and The Bev Center in West Hollywood (to name a few). In 2006, Katie had the opportunity to move to Austin. She had heard that it was a wonderful place to live and was excited for a great
