Best car buying experience ever. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Never felt pressured or forced in any way. They weren’t pushy but made sure to offer us a great deal. The staff were very professional (Peter Jacobs was awesome). We had gone through multiple dealers on the auto mile in Bedford that day and this place was by far the most superior in every aspect. From the desk manager to the finance guy, everyone had a ‘good vibe’. We came back to Toyota Bedford because of the professional staff and their great offer.

I had a negative experience at Toyota Scion of Bedford this afternoon (6÷27÷2016 1:15PM). About two weeks ago I was in a minor car accident where I was rear-​ended while stopped in traffic. The insurance carrier for the other driver requested that I get a written trade-​in value estimate from a dealer to obtain a «depreciation value» of the car due to an accident. The insurance adjuster said they request this in states like Ohio where depreciation value due to an accident is not required by Law. I thought the request was odd, but elected to make the effort to obtain the requested information.
Since my car is a 2013 Toyota Prius V and my wife just bought a 2012 Toyota Highlander Limited from Toyota Scion of Bedford about a month ago I thought it might be a good place to fulfill this request. I called the dealership about a week ahead to see if this was something that could be easily done, or if I needed to make an appointment. A little over one week later, after not receiving a call back on the issue, I called again and was told to stop bye and someone would take care of me. Since I knew this would be requesting a favor I stopped in after lunch when the sales staff were likely less busy (which they were as multiple salesmen were free on the floor). I met with one of the salesman and explained my situation/​request to him. He told me he needed to check with his used car manager to see how to go about providing my request. The salesman returned to me and reported that they were legally not allowed to provide me with a trade-​in estimate on car and that there was nothing in this favor that benefited him. I very politely rebutted his statement and said, «Helping me out would likely make me a long time customer for service on my two Toyotas as well as future sales, and that since they provide trade-​in estimates all the time (even online) could they at least give me a trade-​in value on the car now for comparison by the insurance carrier.» To which he calmly said, «That is when people are looking to buy cars and since you are not doing that today, it’s not worth our time. I came to work to sell cars and this doesn’t help me sell any cars today.» Upon hearing that I politely thanked him for his time, wished him a good day and left.
I left feeling very frustrated and disappointed. I came in with the hope that a dealership would help me out and would make me a long time customer as well as convert me to being someone who would recommend other people to use Toyota Scion of Bedford. However, I now feel as though I didn’t and do not matter to the salesman or the dealership and that the direction from management is not to treat customers as people, but rather to use them only for the short term end result. Something so simple and easy (which they do all the time) would have made such a difference to me, but with how this had made me feel and with all the dealership options out there, I will never again go to Toyota Scion of Bedford or any Penske Automotive Group dealership for service or sales, and will also recommended any one I know to go elsewhere for their automotive needs. Every dealership basically has the same cars and the same pricing, and treating people as though they matter and the experience at the dealership that a customer receives is the only thing that sets dealerships apart. In less than an hour from leaving the dealership (and under 10 miles away), I was able to satisfy my request at another Toyota dealership with no issue at all.

We will never go to another dealer! Our experience was fantastic. Never once did we feel pressured or felt like we were «talked into» a car. All our concerns and needs were listened to and were addressed. If you ever need a car or even just thinking about it stop in and make sure you ask for Tom Cargill. He is an upfront and very honest and hardworking salesman. The selection and service are outstanding. Steve in finance did a knockout job also.
I will send anyone I know looking for a car right to TOB.

The service department at Toyota of Bedford (TOB) is horrible and I will never by another car from this dealer. I have a 2012 Nissan Murano that bought in April of 2015. The first time I took back for an oil change the technician didn’t know what kind of oil my vehicle needed and realized that type it needs wasn’t available, so I ended up having to come back the following week for an oil change. When the oil was changed, the dip stick wasn’t replaced correctly therefore, oil was leaking on to the engine causing a burning smell, so I resolved to get the rest of the work needed at Nissan of Bedford.
Next issue, I’m driving the vehicle on the highway and all of a sudden it cuts off and I’m stranded on the side of the road with no power, my 2 year old, sick daughter in the back at 7:30pm at night (28 degrees). I was going to have the vehicle towed to Nissan of Bedford, but my warranty is with Toyota of Bedford, so no choice.
I get it towed and I go to the service department at 9am to let them know what occurred etc., etc. They say okay we’ll take a look at it and give you a call. I wait until 4pm and I haven’t received a call, so I call TOB. They tell me that they’re backed up and probably won’t get to it today (what the???). You’ve had the car since 9am when you opened and where’s the courtesy of letting me know, so that I can make arrangements for work. I proceed to ask if they have rentals or loaners that they give if they’re going to keep a vehicle overnight. They state that that’s not a courtesy they give for people who buy used vehicles, but they’ll see what they can do (steaming).
This is my first time in life ever purchasing a foreign vehicle (not knocking foreign vehicle, but I’m a fan a GM cars) and it just may be my last. TOB you have to do better with your customer service. This won’t be last vehicle purchase, but it will probably be my last vehicle purchase from you.

This review is for the Service Department only. A few days ago I was driving from Michigan to Washington, DC. Going down the turnpike, I heard a weird noise coming from underneath my Toyota Matrix. After stopping at a service plaza, I noticed a plastic guard/​shield hanging down below the front of my driver side. Knowing little about cars, but deciding I probably shouldn’t drive another 400 miles with this issue, I called Toyota Scion of Bedford. I spoke with Matt, explained the problem and how I needed to get back on the road ASAP, and he told me to come in.
Honestly, the service dept could have taken advantage of my need to hit the road quickly, or my lack of knowledge about cars, but they didn’t. In less than 45 minutes, I walked out of the service dept with new pins in the splash shield and an invoice of $ 0! Since it was an easy fix of just adding a few pins, they replaced them for free. I couldn’t believe it! They got me back on the road quickly and didn’t charge a cent. The service dept at Toyota Scion Bedford was truly honest with me, and, in my experience, that’s rare when it comes to car repair. If I’m ever near Beford and my car needs repairing, I won’t hesitate to take it back to Toyota Scion of Bedford.

Very helpful with our maintenance on our car. Staff was helpful in service and even though their job is too sell, they weren’t pushy like other dealers and actually LISTENED! To what we had to see whereas when we went to subaru and never got approached by anyone… pretty disappointing since their the same company

If you are thinking to buy a Toyota i would suggest you not to go there!!! FROM EXPERIENCE!!!

I had a really good experience here. My salesman, Andy Kolat was knowledgable and very helpful. Bought my new 2015 Prius and feel good about the price and the value of my 2005 Prius trade in. I’m hoping this experience carries over into the service department. Time will tell.

Stop by to see a Corolla with my brother. The salesman was so rude. We ended up buying at another dealer. This dealership won’t have my business ever.

We had a wonderful experience purchasing our Rav4 a few weeks ago. We met with Bryan Martin, who was very helpful and resourceful! We hope to refer him to our friends and colleagues who may be searching for a Toyota. We had wonderful experiences with everyone else at Toyota. We had many accessories added to the car «after market» and the entire service team was very nice and helpful. Very pleased with the service we received at Toyota!

I just bought my 2015 Highlander Limited from Bedford Toyota and had a wonderful experience! Bryan Martin my sales person was extremely knowledgable, patient and a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond to get me what I wanted without being pushy or overbearing which made it a very comfortable experience. In Addition, Jeff the sales manager and the finance people were all extremely helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend going to Bedford Totota Scion for your next new or used car purchase. My beloved 2001 Sentra had been towed to the Nissan dealership down the street from here. The repairs were going to be a costly investment and the thinking was to better invest in a new car which was a huge and unexpected expense at this time. The new model (I’ve been a loyal sentra person for decades) had been redesigned, and wasn’t at this time a good fit for me, sadly. My sister has a Prius and was happy. SInce I was driving past, I stopped in to see what the car was like etc. Came back the next day to test drive it. Salesperson greets me with «are you serious about the car?»
I was stressed and sleep deprived and will forever regret my not walking out and taking my business elsewhere.
I didn’t go to other dealers, being naïve enough to think these people would be respectful and honest. They did not explain all options, and had my head spinning with figures. I used a vacation day and was there from before noon until after 4:30 even once I agreed to their figures because I was just plain stupid in that moment. (I did take a brief break to go over to the other car dealership to get my own car).
They blew off the figures on the pricing report I’d paid for from a leading consumer magazine… as well as on-​line dealers who would be within the price range listed.
When I went to pick up the car, with a friend, the salesperson walked us outside the doors to see the car… not telling us prior that within (supposedly) the past hour the car had BEEN HIT on the parking lot. No one claimed responsibility; it could have been a customer (we think an employee in a golf cart). Just installing cameras… but they started on the OTHER side of the building.
They offered to get a new door put on, paint it to match… luckily, by the AM I heard from many wiser people that was NOT ok… that for what I was paying and since it was likely I would buy the car, I should INSIST on a new car. It arrived by the end of the week, but the paperwork had to be signed again. Very small print on the pages… and when I insisted on an explanation of something called ROAD, I was told it was included, and would make no difference in the price of the car/​lease/​payment. WHERE is it included? «It just IS.» Later I saw the paper clearly said it was OPTIONAL. It was also odd to sign papers that said it had a value of $ 483…why would you have to sign off on it if it was included???
At this point I have already contacted the owner of the dealership, who contacted the GM, who claimed he was clueless about what had taken place. I thought that was odd since his customer relations person had called and asked me to share what I described as a «negative experience». The dealership has refunded the money for that ROAD, in addition to giving me a gas card to cover half a tank of gas that was missing. Yes, the sticker clearly said (read after the fact) FULL TANK OF GAS INCLUDED). We were distracted by accepting delivery of the car so never noticed until our first stop: The gauge showed exactly HALF a tank.
My salesperson had asked me TWICE, although he barely did anything to encourage my business, to be sure and give him all 10’s on a survey I would be receiving. I didn’t want to fill it out at all because I thought he was young and learning… wanted to cut him a break… but when this whole episode is put into perspective, I really felt they never cared about me, and I wasn’t going to hold back, and did the survey. In doing so I learned many things that should have taken place on the delivery, as far as explaining how things worked etc were neglected.
As others have noted, do not deal with this dealership. No reason to. Plenty of others in the area, and a slightly longer drive may be well worth the effort.
I felt like I had one of the biggest mistakes of my life hit me in the face every time I approached my car. I was happy to discover I could get new plates and get rid of the TOB, and I went to another dealer in the area, in a very SWEET location, who made me very happy by putting my plates and their frames on my car.
I hope this helps prevent others from making my mistakes. Please, if you don’t understand it clearly enough, don’t be worn down and sign anyhow. Another day won’t make a difference, take the papers with you to review first, or take someone good in math or the law with you. It shouldn’t be this hard, but it is. There are also some great articles on line about the car buying process. I blew it, and read them all too late. YOU DON’T HAVE 3 days to get out of a contract when it comes to cars. You can sign later… once you sign, there is no going back. BE CAREFUL.

do not buy from this shady shady company. do not every buy from this place. first off the lie to me about my loan approval send me on an over night test drive next day to find out my loan did not get approved as they said but could for $ 150 a month more. told them i was not going to buy the car and 2 days latter they cash my check i wrote to hold the car that i decided not to buy. now they refuse to give me back my money until they feel like it. so now i have to wait a least a week to get my money back. this place is nothing but thieves

I did not buy my toyota here — but I’ve brought it here for service. I hadn’t seen the reviews until my 2 year old car had the «check engine» light come on. Long story short, they kept the car for 4 days (after telling me it would be a two hour fix) trying to tell me that nothing was wrong with it. The check engine diagnostics at another location came up with 8 error codes — yet somehow I get into the dealership and there’s nothing wrong with it? Right.
I truly believe they wanted to get out of paying for the services included in my warranty. After a lot of back and forth arguments, they did the service. They also recommended additional services that I respectfully declined. They did not like that response and promptly told me that wherever else I go, I’m overpaying. They were unprofessional, unorganized, and untrustworthy.

Don’t bother with Bedford Toyota. As numerous other reviews have already stated, this is a tricky and dishonest dealer, whether you are buying used or new, or getting your car serviced.
Our salesperson was also nice to us during the test drive, but once we discussed price, the usual tricks came out. Tons of reasons for why the online price could not be honored, tons of pressure, etc. At one point the sales manager came out and he was a real sleazeball. Very dishonest, high pressure, and just overall not a genuine person.
We got out of there as fast and we could and took our business elsewhere.

Don’t get fooled by the Toyota of Bedford people… go somewhere else to purchase your car!
I purchased a 2010 «Certified» Toyota Rav4. That means it comes with a 1-​year warranty. Within that first year I had to replace the battery (almost $ 200) because it wasn’t covered.
Then, at 10 months, all the warning lights on the dashboard light up. I take it back to Toyota of Bedford to get fixed. AGAIN, was told it wasn’t covered under the warranty and got stiffed with another $ 1,200.00 bill.
They lie right to your face to make a few bucks. I can’t stress enough… DO NOT BUY YOUR NEXT VEHICLE HERE!

Lets see where to start… So I was going to purchase a Camry for my elderly parents who still live in the Cleveland area and came here to look at cars. My parents seemed to like the standard 2013 camry model so I went online and looked up the true value of the car, and what a good price would be. There was also a website or app that allowed you to input your information and then other dealerships in the area would call you if you liked the price. So I did that and knew what price I wanted to pay so I started haggling with the sales guy regarding the price. He kept telling me that he would not give it to me for $ 21,000.00 even though I had a print out from another dealership that was maybe 20 minutes away that did have it. He told me to go there and if they sold it that I should get it and acted like a complete pompous you know what when talking down to me. I believe his exact words were «yeah if you can get that car I will personally eat my clipboard». He looked at the price and said the other dealership’s MSRP was messed up and they wouoldnt sell it to me.
I went to the other dealership and they gave it to me for even cheaper after some bargaining, and it was the same exact model and color and brand new. I actually called the original sales guy from the Toyota of Bedford place and told him I got the car, and said I was driving down there to watch him eat his clip board and could show him my invoice.
Bottom Line: Avoid this dealership like the plague, I went to another dealership in Cleveland Heights and not only got a better deal but was not treated like garbage.

We tried to purchase a new Camry here — they were nice during the test drive and when talking through options, turned into a real mess once we got to pricing.
In addition to being dishonest, they weren’t even good at the sleazy car sales game — sloppy math, excuses for why the price kept changing that made no sense, etc. Worst of all, they refused to honor the detailed price quote their «internet specialist» sent by email two days before our visit.
If you decide to work with this dealership, definitely avoid Brittany (internet sales) and Nick (mid-​level sales manager). Better yet, go somewhere else entirely.

I did some of my maintenance since 2008. It is always busy, so call for appointment at least 2 weeks ahead. The work has been good and expensive. Seems like they change the manager for part/​service recently. My last service in June was not a nice story though, for a recall and a oil change.
1. They went to wrong address to pick me up after the work, which costs more than 1.5 hours and force me to change the schedule for the rest of my day.
2. The car was not washed as they normally did.
3. They did not honor the oil change coupon.
Overall, it has been OK, despite the latest visit. It may be just a bad day for me.
