Ansell & Anderson provides legal services in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, special needs trusts, guardianships, and gift, estate and generation skipping transfer tax planning. We combine the expertise of a large firm with the personal service that is available only at a small firm. Our goal is to provide high quality legal services in a timely and efficient manner.
Ruth Tolf Ansell and Christine S. Anderson are both members of ACTEC, have the highest rating (av) from Martindale Hubbell, and have been named as some of the top attorneys in Trust, Estate and Elder Law by New Hampshire Magazine for many years.
History
Established in 1981.
I started my legal career in 1981 at Hamblett & Kerrigan in Nashua, and then moved to McLane, Graf, Raulerson & MIddleton, PA. in 1987. I started Ansell Professional Association in 1994 in order to concentrate on trust and estate law. Christine Anderson joined the firm as a partner in 1998. Together, we have worked with thousands of clients in both the planning and the administration of estates and trusts over the years. Alyssa Graham joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2012.

Business Owner
Ruth graduated from Fordham Law School in 1981, and received a LLM in taxation from Boston University School of Law in 1988. She has been a member of ACTEC since 1995, and served as the New Hampshire state chair from 1999 — 2004. She often lectures for the New Hampshire Bar Association on trust, estate and tax matters.
