I spend 10 hrs in the ER Saturday 12÷29÷12. My doctor sent me there and called ahead as I was having an internal bleed from my surgery earlier in the week. After 8 hrs I was finally able to see a doctor. He refused to call my doc after seeing and give him a visual update. The doc in the ER Dr Patel did not believe in using Dilaudid as a pain med, but I am allergic to all other. He finally agreed to give me a 2mg injection which burned like hell. I take 8mg at home so the 2mg was useless. My nurse Jen was useless and never checked on me once while in the room. After the 10hr visit at the ER NOTHING was resolved and I was discharged with more pain than what I arrived with AND THE ER DOC STILL REFUSED TO CALL MY PRIMARY DOC THAT SENT ME TO THE ER. My primary doc had to call the ER room at 4:30am this morning himself to get and update. CAUTION… CAUTION… the care at this hospital is questionable and they are after the $$$ and care NOTHING about the patient!
