History

Established in 1999.

We are a family owned and operated organic farm located on Route 220 — just 13 miles north of Cumberland, Maryland and 15 miles south of Bedford, Pennsylvania. Since 1999, we have been offering the area’s best organic produce, native landscaping, and handcrafted soaps — all grown or produced right here!

We operate a two acre nursery, manage 5 acres of fruit orchards and vegetable gardens, steward nearly 100 acres of farm and forest, and operate a small goat and sheep dairy and livestock farm. We are not a plant warehouse; in fact, many landscaping varieties start here from cuttings or seed, and grow on to a suitable size for transplanting. If you are interested in learning about your purchase, please ask someone on our knowledgeable staff. We are also a member of the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce and have received numerous awards, such as the Excellence In Small Business Award (2003) and Best of Show Award (2006) at the Western MD Home Builders Home and Garden Show.
