D’s Nail Spa

It’s a hit or miss spot depending on the person you get. Most of them suck. Can’t do designs or don’t have the color you want. I’m very disappointed with the nails I just got. I said I want this and have them a picture and she couldn’t even follow the picture.

Do not just walk in this place and expect to walk out happy every time. They are very unprofessional and unorganized. They will move you around from chair to chair mid mani and will again stop for a good 15 minutes to do a wax.
On top of that if you don’t make an appt with a veteran nail tech, the nails are sloppy.

I’ve been here 3 times and yesterday was by far my worse experience in any nail salon. I went in to take the gel off my nails and get a whole new set. I was promptly seated and asked to soak my nails. I sat there for 50 minutes. Just sat there. The woman who sat me down never came back to check on me but instead went to go do someone else’s nails. After being frustrated and waiting while people who walked after me were seated and getting their nails done I got up to leave. Only then did the woman that originally sat me down tell me that another woman (who never even spoke to me or tell me a single word) was almost done. Really? 50 minutes and no one could tell me I was waiting on a different person? By then of course my nails were very worn from soaking in acetone for so long that all I wanted to do was get out of there. Sadly the previous experience was so great I couldn’t wait to go back. I won’t be returning to this salon ever again. 50 minutes to leave someone soaking their nails in acetone without so much as a ‘we will be right with you’ is ridiculous. I would have been better off left in seating area and advised they were busy (which they weren’t).

Ok so I hate to write this because I had high hopes for this place… I’ve been here several times for gel polish and loved my nails… Decided to get traditional polish this time and it was terrible! I kept having to point out jagged edges and the shape was inconsistent… Then she did a crappy job wth the polish AND the topcoat. It crinkled up and wrinkled while drying. I was do happy because they’re open Sunday… 32 dollars for a nail job il will probably take off tomorrow.

The cleanliness is questionable and the service is very slow. My friend and I came here on a Sunday and were immediately seated for a pedicure, followed by a manicure. Normally I can get both done in under an hour, but this place took 2.5 hours because the technicians were so slow. Most places offer complimentary wine before they get started, but as our technicians didn’t offer anything, we figured it wasn’t part of the deal here. 20 minutes into the pedicure we noticed them bring wine to someone else, so then we requested it and it was given to us. With every other nail salon I’ve been to, they remove the pedicure tools from a sealed bag and then place them in sterilizing solution after use, which gives you some confidence that the tools are cleaned; these technicians, however, just took the tools out of a drawer and afterwards put the tools back in the drawer without sterilizing them in any way. I commented on this and was assured that everything is sterilized, but I couldn’t help feeling doubtful of their cleanliness. I was satisfied with how my toenails were painted, but the polish on my fingernails was painted unevenly. I will definitely not be coming back here.

Terrible customer service. Don’t go here if your not a regular. I showed up with a party of 3 and only one of use sat in a seat. The nail techs kept pushing us back in the line. When we would ask why we were told «You will be next» but never happened. Once it came time to pay for my mother service they requested a different price than what we had discussed in the beginning. The tech got upset when I told her about the conversation her she became upset. She then takes the card rudely saying «it’s just 2 dollars.» I simply will not be going back.

I have been coming here for awhile now. They do an excellent job always — any of the technicians do, Tina is my favorite. They are always busy, so even if you schedule an appointment, you could be waiting. They are friendly and very reasonable prices — I get lots of compliments on my nails!

Great prices for all they do! Love my new color gel-​nails! & I’m pretty picky about my nails. I’m a performer and have to have them done just right! And they had no problem taking a lil direction and changed the color when it wasn’t quite right with no fuss. Had a mani/​pedi today, talk about feeling like a Queen! These lady’s are very friendly and I didn’t have much of a wait. I’m from Austin and needed a good place to go when I visit Bedford. I will def be back when I’m in town.

I found this place on Unilocal because my usual place closes too early. This one was open til 8pm, so i checked it out. I loved the chairs. They were amazing. The ladies working were really nice. I will be back!

Today was my first time here. The pedicure was very good and the price is great. They were very busy so we had to wait a bit but it wasn’t bad. The place is clean and the staff were nice. They are open on Labor day!

This is the second time I’ve tried this place and I am very pleased. The staff is friendly and the service is worth what you pay for. $ 30 for a deluxe pedi is a steal. Ill definitely be coming back.

Schedule a 12:00 appointment for a mani-​pedi a week ago for my wife. It was an anniversary gift for her. She ended up having to wait till 12:45. It was extremely unprofessional because a lot of «regulars» were able to go before her. Very disappointing in the level of service. She didn’t even receive an apology or any form of reconciliation for the wait.

Don’t even bother getting your brows waxed here. After getting my eyebrows waxed here I was humiliated on how small and uneven they looked.

I have only been here once, and it was without an appointment, so take the following with a grain of salt.
I was looking for somewhere to get a pedicure and manicure and was happy to come across somewhere that looked great on Unilocal so close to where I live. When I walked in, it was a little unclear where I was supposed to check in as no one greeted me, but after a few minutes someone looked up from what she was doing and told me to have a seat for a bit.
The wait took about an hour, which surprised me as there were only two women ahead of me, but I held out– Unilocal loves this place! When it was my turn to go back they directed me to a chair in the back. I took off my shoes, but there was no water in my chair-​bowl so I awkwardly hovered my feet for a while (do I put them in? Is it clean yet? What do I do?!) while the lady next to me looked on like I was some kinda special brand of crazy. They finally came around and filled it up with room temp water, asked what services I wanted, and we were on with the show.
Despite the big fat wait (I saw 2 ladies walk out in frustration), the missing water, the missing super cheery customer service typical of nail salons… once they started, it was one of the best and more thorough pedicures I have had, and for a great price. I didn’t actually end up getting a manicure because by the time they finished my toes I was ready to get out of there, but I will be back to try em out and will report back!
In summary:
–Don’t expect a super happy greeting or a super luxe experience
–Do expect a big ol wait and make an appointment
— Don’t get frustrated, hang out a bit, and it is worth your money!

Visited here for anniversary pampering — got a deluxe manicure & pedicure for my husband & myself. Friendly staff. Wonderful massage chairs. Both ladies that worked on us were sweet and made us feel like royalty. They didn’t hurry us through like cattle like some salons I’ve been to have. We had to wait a while but this place was jam packed full of new and returning customers. To avoid the wait you might want to make an appointment.

I had been looking for a place to get a great pedicure, since I can’t have my nails done for work.
After much searching and heartache, I finally found the place.
D’s Nail Spa was absolutely amazing. I came right as they opened around 9 and got in immediately, but I recommend calling ahead and making an appointment, because Whew they fill up fast! The woman who did my pedi was so sweet and had a great attention to detail. She not only didn’t hurt me, but made sure to ask throughout the process if anything hurt and made sure I was comfortable.
I got the deluxe for $ 30, but I think it was totally worth it. So relaxing, great service, would definitely recommend!

So I’m going down to 4 stars because while the manicure was great, the nail polish was out on sloppy. Big bummer, however I’ll be back and I’ll ask for a different girl (she was different then the original one)

Never judge the book my its cover. I love to go get my nails done at D’s Nail Spa. I have never been disappointed. Tina knows exactly how to make my nails look amazing (I uploaded a photo) take a look…
