I read so many amazing reviews about this place I wanted to give it a try! Living in Bushwick there are not that many good options when it comes to Seamless, but the ones that are good are amazing. Unfortunately, after 90 minutes I got a call that my order was the next one out. After more than an hour I called back and was told it was again, the next order out. I asked for a refund since it had been 2.5+ hours.
It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because the owner was incredibly kind when I was placed on the phone with her. She profusely apologized and offered a full refund through Seamless and explained how busy it was but that it wasn’t an excuse. I think she was expecting me to be really mean or rude, but honestly I never think it gets you anywhere to be disrespectful to people, nor is it acceptable. Things happen. It’s Saturday brunch. So while I probably won’t do delivery from here again, I probably will go visit in person!

The food here is kindof unbelievably fantastic. The best thing around actually. The staff is super friendly too and the service freaking great. They do keep odd hours though so it’s hard to give them 5 stars. It’s a bit unpredictable so we’ve stopped counting on them being open for early coffee and treats. But man, I wish they were open more. Sooo good.

Most people give this place 5 stars because they ordered their food. I went in to grab a quick breakfast sandwich and coffee and I sat there for over 45 minutes waiting for an egg and cheese sandwich. They made nearly every order that had been called in but they didn’t serve the people in front of them. Additionally, their ventilation isn’t the best and before long my eyes were stinging and my clothes and hair smelled like smoke and oil. What I’m saying is they need a much bigger kitchen that is separate from the dining area in order to accommodate their rather large menu. And they should probably make simple small orders first for people who are physically waiting, just a time management thing so I can be on my way. The folks ordering delivery are obviously not going anywhere, they’re comfortable and warm at home! BUT: That egg and cheese sandwich was damn good. Though I live around the corner I’ll be ordering from now on. Takes the same amount of time anyway.

Just want to write a quick review to comment on the exceptional service that I received from these folks today. I placed a delivery order for a smoothie and the vegetarian sandwich. Shortly after I ordered, one of the staff (perhaps the owner, not sure) called to politely inform me that they had to make the sandwich without avocado, because their avocados weren’t ripe enough. He apologized and offered me several substitution options. Additionally, the food was still delivered to me quickly (in under an hour), it was all fresh, and the smoothie was exceptional.
I’ve had plenty of delivery experiences in which the service was rude or careless, or made totally inept ingredient substitutions without even so much as letting me know. By contrast, I was really impressed with how courteous Butch & Coco’s staff was in handling this, and their food is great!

I had the delicious French toast with eggs, fruit and turkey bacon. Food was official like a referee with a whistle.

Very clean and updated place. I like that the food is cook in front of you. Friendly staff. I tried the Artichoke Chicken sandwich. It was really good. Thick cut of chicken Breast with huge marinated soft Artichokes o a whole wheat bread. I also tried the wings. Well cook but I had better. I also tried the wafffle delux. I got the red velvet waffle it taste very good. recommend this place.

Simply amazing! This new addition to the neighborhood is just what was needed. The food and atmosphere of this café is wonderful. I’ve eaten there many times over and I can honestly say I never had a bad meal. The food there is real picturesque and taste very good. I swear I do a happy dance when I get there, when I eat and when I leave just because of the total experience of being there. The staff is super tentative and the décor is very charming. It’s quaint location that pumps soothing music and just incredible food. A real hidden gem in the area and I love that it’s here!

This place has friendly service and delicious food. I came for breakfast and ordered the sausage, cheddar cheese, and egg sandwich. I think the price was very reasonable ($ 6) and it also came with some sweet strawberries and blueberries on the side! They don’t make espresso drinks but the coffee had good flavor and I will come back to try a smoothie. The inside of the café is also very clean and bright. There was also a spirited discussion about Modern Family that I chipped in on. Eating here made my day!

If you like waiting almost 3 hours for food, this is your place. We ordered 2 orders of chicken & waffles, a red velvet waffle deluxe and 2 coffees at 11:00 am on a Sunday. Only to get a call an hour after that they dont have waffles or pancakes. We updated our order and they said it would take 20 minutes. We get another call at 1:30 pm saying that there is traffic due to the marathon and that our delivery person forgot their phone. This was an issue since our buzzer was out of order at the time. So I put a sign on our front door and propped it open, telling them to come upstairs. Finally the food arrives at 1:40 pm– 2 hours and 40 minutes after we placed our order. The coffee was horrible, the worst coffee I’ve ever had.

The food is great from this tiny store front shop. There are eight seats in the entire place. The employees could not have been nicer. Unfortunately the service while friendly was terrible. We waited and watched for 45 minutes while they juggled orders and sent food to people who came after us, before they said «I am going to start yours now.» Over an hour wait and them when we walked back to our house, they did have include all of the food. While I imagine the toast is good, it was not worth a walk back for it. If I had my toast I might have split the difference on stars.

First time ordering from Butch and Coco and it won’t be my last time. One of the owners delivered my food and she was so sweet and on time as promised! The chicken and waffles were tasty topped with fresh fruit and powdered sugar. The packaging was neat and the food warm. Ordering from Grubhub includes a $ 5 delivery charge but it’s worth it, I called the restaurant direct and spoke to a pleasant young man and they waived the delivery fee (I still paid it, just cause). I plan to visit the place the next time I don’t feel like cooking. Very glad Brooklyn has a spot like this close to home.

Found this place via Unilocal.Called to confirm that they were open and thankfully they were… nice and early. Came here with the intentions of getting a smoothie but oh my goodness once I entered it all changed from there. I was overwhelmed with how friendly the atmosphere was. The customers and staff were super friendly which is key in my book. After reviewing the menu and throwing my smoothie idea out the window I ordered chicken and waffles, w/​an iced green tea (as if that’s going to do something). Everything was freshly prepared so patience is key… my food was fresh, looked good, and tasted better and I was delighted to have delicious strawberries and blueberries on the side. Will definitely be back!!!

Delicious menu for anytime of day. Very warm and pleasant atmosphere with a sophisticated twist. Good music. All around A++

Super cute spot in Bedstuy. I wonder how long this gem has been just around the way??! Can’t wait to get into these fish and shrimp tacos.

This place is awesome! My wife and I live a few blocks away and we’re always checking out the local cafes on the weekends. We tried out the coffee and two of the breakfast items – the egg, spinach and feta wrap and the double smoked turkey bacon, egg & cheddar wrap (it normally comes in croissant, but my wife asked for a wrap instead and they happily accommodated her with no extra charge). The coffee was delicious and we were pleasantly surprised that each item was served with a spring mix salad and fresh berries on the side, which is an incredible portion of food for only $ 6! Even just the presentation of the plate was impressive. All the ingredients were super fresh too. You can tell they take time and care to serve the best looking and tasting food.
And the customer service was on point! Ana and Tanya, the women who helped us out this morning are amazing. They were both very friendly and warm, yet professional. You can tell they work extra hard to ensure the vibe in their spot is just as welcoming and comforting as the food. We will definitely be returning and trying more of the menu.
We are so thrilled to have a wonderful spot with wonderful people running it just a short walk from our apartment!

Sweetest girls that work here! The iced coffee and lemonade are spot on! But the food is expensive, hipster prices. Get cheap sandwiches at the Bodega next door for less than $ 5 and then get your drink here!
This is mostly takeout place, since there is only window seating. They open early and close mid afternoon, so it’s great on the go or for a quick bite.
They do have wifi.

Hands down best food in Brooklyn period. This review is long overdue but I never remember to photograph my food because all I want to do is eat and live in the moment, lol! But seriously this place serves modern comfort food that will have you missing it after eating your mama’s cooking! So I’ve had everything on the menu at least 3 times and NOTHING I repeat NOTHING is bad!!! It’s like they don’t know how to make a bad meal. A fact that I am more than grateful for. Honestly I’ve been holding out on a review because it’s such a small space that I don’t want you out there in the Unilocal universe to pack it up and eat everything that love! But these women are hard working and deserve to stay in business so I won’t be selfish in sharing that you all need to do yourselves a favor and run, not walk to brooklyns best kept secret!!!

Great food, great vibe, great customer service. Grits, red velvet waffles, omelette with cheddar and caramelized onions… all perfect. I can even get a fresh, delicious Dough donut without traveling there. Very excited to have this place in the neighborhood! Also have a nice roster of drinks, smoothies, coffee and lunch/​quick dinner options.

Better get here before the lines get out the door. Comfort food with upscale touches (ginger lemonade with honey instead of sugar, chicken and red velvet waffles) and they even make vegetarian black bean sliders.
My husband works a few doors down and I seriously cannot wait for them to be open on the weekdays so he can bring me home dinner!
