We have had a wonderful stay at this hotel. There’s a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport, which makes it really easy to catch the orange line into downtown Chicago. The staff has been extremely kind and friendly and helpful. We were never disturbed by neighbors, though I’m sure that’s always just situational. I’ve stayed at a regular Marriott that was less comfortable and helpful than this hotel. Highly recommend.

Let me just say this has been an OASIS for us today! Been awake since 3am to travel to New Orleans when our flights got cancelled so we have 3 tired, disappointed & hungry kids! This hotel is clean, friendly & efficient staff is just what a beat up traveller needs ! We don’t have milk anymore & they helped us get through the night, gave us take out pamphlets to call for delivery … It’s just GREAT.

When I booked the room I asked question just so I was clear, well needless to say I was very disappointed. The room was much smaller than it appeared on-​line, no real blanket on the bed„ TV appeared larger on-​line. Now this is the kicker, when my husband asked for a menu for room service he was told they do not have menus in the room due to they are not a full service hotel (how do you know what you want if you don’t have a menu)…wow. We did a late check-​in so maybe all the good help & customer service left for the evening LOL Two stars due to the room was clean :-). I would not recommend if you expect customer.

This Courtyard is unusual because they actually recognize their Elite members.
Unlike most other Marriott’s that I have been to, I was given a bottle of water and cookies upon my arrival — I almost felt as if I were at a Hilton.
Service was good and the rooms were nice.
This property is located just south of Midway in the complex that houses most hotels in the area.

Could be the most friendly staff I’ve experienced throughout the courtyard group. Other than the staff, the hotel is behind the CY in updating its rooms. Sure the lobby is «new» but I spend my time at CY in «my room». No bar service and you will be directed to an attached «TGIF» circa 1983 for a drink. Limited channels on TV. Where’s the GOLF channel? From my point of view the staff makes this hotel 5 stars everything else is a negative.
Oh, power outage coupled w/​a flooded parking lot did not help matters this morning.

Post all the chaos of my first two nights, the hotel was extremely accommodating. Their customer service was impeccable and showed that they really value their guests. The hotel director personally reached out to me apologizing. I was given breakfast on the hotel every morning. They also took care of my last three nights and parking fee.
Overall ended in a very pleasant experience. I recommend staying at this hotel, lots of great restaurants nearby, the rooms are clean and updated and the staff is extremely friendly!

Decent for an airport hotel, but nothing to write home about. The AC was loud and would occasionally make 1 loud ‘bang’ noise, thus scaring the crap out of me in the middle of the night. The walls are thin and the doors slam shut no matter what you do.
They have a nice bar downstairs and a starbucks onsite. The staff was friendly and more than apt to get you checked in quickly.
Room wasn’t as clean as I’ve seen in the past as there was a HUGE red stain on the carpet and splatters on the wall. But, it wasn’t blood, just cool-​aid or something.

Very friendly staffs.
HUGE room! I had two beds and a fold out bed. Perfect for me, my dad, and my sister. We all got to sleep in our own bed.
My room came with a mini fridge. Too bad it didn’t come with a microwave. You could put take outs in the fridge but you can’t heat them up.
Wi-​fi is free. No access code was needed.
Literally five minutes away from Midway airport. No, I didn’t hear planes taking off or landing.
Parking is $ 13/​night. Not sure if they really checked for this. They give a parking slip that you’re supposed to put on the dash of your car. I paid for two nights, but I saw some cars without the parking slip. Park at your own risk if you don’t pay it.
Room service is provided by TGI Friday’s which is located right next door to the Courtyard. They also allowed other deliveries directly to your room.
Clean.
I would totally stay here again.

Nice staff very friendly greeting. Hotel is very nice and clean. Great area easy to get around. Offer shuttle every 20 min. 24⁄7 to Midway airport. Great for concerts etc at Toyota park. Take a free shuttle to Midway then catch a shuttle to the park. No driving no fuss. This was from July 2011 Buffett Concert.

So, work puts us up here, amongst a couple of other area hotels. I think the Courtyard Chicago Midway is the best.
The staff are always very friendly and responsive, the rooms have always been clean as are all the public areas.
I’ve never made use of the Bistro area, but they do serve breakfast, lunch and I think, dinner. If that isn’t your thing, there is a TGI Friday’s attached to the hotel. And if that isn’t your thing either, then there are a plethora of options within walking distance.
The pool and hot-​tub are nice and have always been clean too.
Overall, recommended hotel.

Weekend trip with my wife. The hotel was Recently remodeled. It was really nice and had one of the best hotel beds I’ve ever had. The staff was extremely helpful. They even offered to make reservations for us when we asked about an attraction in Downtown. My only complaint was the price of the food. Pretty expensive but that’s hotel food I suppose.

This is your standard airport hotel. I picked it up for cheap on Priceline, and used it for a few hours sleep when I arrived into Chicago late at night. Free airport shuttle was great, but the hotel was under renovation so it wasn’t actually a pleasant front desk check-​in experience. Also, the bed sheets were super static-​y and I kept getting shocked.

We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard by Midway airport. it was a nice hotel. the bed was the star of the show… not sure that’s what you what if you are trying to explore the city. i just wish i could have had regular pillow instead of the feather pillows but it was still comfy. the shower pressure was excellent with a nice pressure… over all it was a nice stay. however, it is pricey. the 10 $ buffet is the type of buffet you would get for free at any other restaurant excluding the fresh omelets the make for you. parking is 13 $, yes 13 $ a day and there is hardly any parking available around the the hotel.
