Established in 1988.

Established in 1988 by Dr. Erik Thompson. Aloha Animal Medical Center moved to it’s current location in 2001. We have been providing outstanding Veterinary Care and Client Service for over 25 years.

Business Owner

Dr. Erik Thompson graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. Shortly after graduating he moved to Roseburg, Oregon where he joined Parkway Animal Hospital and practiced Large and Small Animal Medicine and Surgery for a year. Dr. Thompson then moved to Portland, OR to take a position at Animal Medical Clinic for another year, practicing exclusively Small Animal Medicine. in the fall of 1988 he started Aloha Animal Medical Center and has been there ever since. When he’s not improving the quality of life of his patients, Dr. Thompson enjoys many of the outdoor opportunities that originally brought him to Oregon including: Skiing, Surfing, Kiteboarding Camping and Whitewater Rafting.
