Love this place! A great and wife selection of various sodas and candies that will keep you coming back for new experiences. For me, most of the sodas are perfect, with clean flavors not overpowered with artificial or syrupy tastes, and the right amount of carbonation.
Service at the Beaverton location was more than exceptional. The store manager was very friendly, helpful, and personable. Definitely go try this place out. But a selection of unique soda and/​or candy for a fun gift.

Pretty fun little spot! Tons of weird flavored soda pops. Wide variety of random candies. If you go, don’t get any ol candy you can buy at the grocery store cuz they are a tad spendy. But, if you find something that stands out & you’re feeling brave to try it, then go for it! The décor is super fun. I’m one of those patrons that does take their dog inside. The staff is sweet & receptive towards our puppy, seems that they enjoy the visit too.

We’ve been to this Rocket Fizz several times and the selection seems to get worse each time. Also, they allow dogs to roam the store freely. I’m allergic to dogs and I really don’t appreciate this, particularly in a place that stores food fairly close to the floor. Between the dwindling selection, high prices and lack of consideration for patrons with allergies I don’t think I’ll be back.

This store is so amazing! I love all the different root beers and the retro candy! The staff is always so nice and welcoming! They truly have a sweet gig!

This place is unlike any other! They have EVERYTHING! If you want candy or chocolate, this is the place to go. Sweet deliciousness

New stuff every time you visit, all the candy and soda you could ever want. A bit pricey but still worth the visits. You’ll think you just want 1 thing but will walk out with 3!

A fun selection of sweets and treats. The owner and staff are super sweet (the girls usually walk away with a sample), and they are involved in supporting our community. Honestly, I wish they were a bit cheaper, but I don’t think think they are out of line with what I might expect from such a niche market with nice customer service in this neighborhood.

4 pack of different flavored sodas. Really love the taffy section. Lots of clever signs, and endless selection of flavored sodas.

Remember those bottled soft drinks and candy of yesteryear that eventually disappeared from store shelves that you may have thought you would never see again? Enter Rocket Fizz — your flavor time capsule that has the capability to transport you back in time and reignite synaptic connections that will allow you to relive snapshots of your youth. Think I’m joking? Just try me. Walk in and look at the names, wrapper colors and labels of treats of long ago. I’ll wager that a few will bring a smile to your face, or a twinkle to your heart.
A large cooler is filled with what seems to be over 200 different soft drinks both older and newer that evoke memories positive and negative. Racks and tables adorn the floor space and are filled to overflowing with wrapped and boxed candies of every flavor and style from super tart and tangy, to silky smooth and chocolaty. I am a fan of the latter and selections are amazing. Zero, Charleston Chew, Uno, Crunchy. And new chocolates are here as well. Almond M&M’s, and even imports. From Great Britain, Bassett’s hard pear candies are killer. Stroll around the tables and along the walls and remind yourself of how fun it was to be a kid.
Lastly, the owner has chosen to couple candy and soft drinks with a monstrous collection of vintage-​looking signs on backing of varying materials. Each of them either adverts for a bygone era, or a quip or quote to lift the spirit. These are worth a gander as you scan treats.
Prices are a bit on the higher side, but what price is fair to take a walk on the young side. Good value for happiness ratio here. In fact, I might be inclined to pay a bit more for a cool opportunity like this every once in a great while.

This is a bad ass retro soda and candy shop. And they cover it ALL. Have a favorite candy from your childhood? Cant find it in your local market, im betting you can get it here! Everything from wax lips and wax coke bottle candy to Necco wafers. Yep, in fruit AND chocolate (dont know what my mom ever saw in these nasty things). I cant even begin to name ALL the candies you can find in here but they even cary some asian candy and snack faves like pocky and hello panda.
The Sodas. HOLY crap on a cracker. Faygo. Got it, and nearly every flavor. Jones, pssssh, please. Jolt, and even the different flavors (yea, i didnt know they came in anything other than cola). Ever heard of Waialua? You have now And try a few of their flavors, i dig them). Orange, orange cream, vanilla cream, cola, strawberry, red (yea apparently not just a color but also a flavor), ginger ale, seriously this place carries loads. Smaller companies with awesome stuff, think of like micro brew for soda. Unique flavors and things you may not have heard of. Bacon. Yes, i said bacon. There is even more than one kind. They also have their own house brand with numerous flavors in every type you can think of. Are you brave enough to try a flaming moe energy drink? Yes sir, they have it with the favorite simpsons character right on the can and all. And yes, they have energy drinks of all kinds as well, crazy stuff i dont think i would ever put in my mouth thanks but to each their own.
Not gonna lie, their price per each is a little spendy, but if you dont drink soda often some of these are an awesome treat. But they do give some price breaks for buying more. Its a cool place to stop in and take a trip down memory lane, maybe even taste a few flowers along the way. The people here are very nice, super helpful, and they will even call you when they get a specific flavor or product in if you ask. You gotta admit, thats just good customer service. And hey maybe you can find SOME of their offerings online, but do you really wanna buy a 6 pack of sarsaperilla to find out you dont like it? You can try them one by one here and not only find old favorites but maybe discover new ones.

This place is awesome. Not only does Rocket Fizz sell great and unique merchandise, but visiting the store is a fun experience in and of itself. This is the place to find weird, classic, and delicious candies. And the soda selection is extensive, to say the least. Not your run of the mill soda, either. Every flavor you can imagine, and every flavor you wouldn’t imagine! ;) They have wall art, cardboard cutouts, and other funky decorations, most of which is on sale.
But my main drive to write this review is the customer service I have received, multiple times. I always feel welcome, even when we popped in for a second right before closing. The associate went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted. He remembered us when we came again. I will make a point of frequently visiting this location.

Brilliant and unique. My daughters love par oozing your establishment. We’ve created some fun memories here and trust we have more to come over the years.

We went in with plans on just one treat each. We left with a 6 pack of sodas and a bag of treats. So much for the best laid plans.
The décor here is so fun and throw back to the 80’s. In addition to candy and soda there are life size character cut outs and throw back tins.
The candy selection includes things from Asia as well as Canada and I believe Europe. There’s taffy, jelly beans, pops, and chocolate galore.
The soda selection is really fun with flavors like Dog Drool… it was actually a grapefruit or lemony flavor, but I bought it to gross my kids out.
The staff here is just awesome! My kids were getting a little crazy and one of the girls working just swooped him up and had him help her ring up our items and bag them. Kept him occupied and settled. Then they gave the kids each a balloon they were using as decoration. It was so sweet.
Oh, and though I detest real cigarettes, I have very fond memories of the candy ones, and they have a bunch of different candy cigarettes. I know that is so taboo now… but for the record, pretending to smoke candy cigarettes doesn’t lead to smoking. lol. I know.
They also have some other fun things like jumbo jaw breakers and gummy bears. There is also a bunch of novelty type toys and treats. This is a great place to go for stocking stuffers, that’s for sure.

remember candy cigarettes, little wax bottles full of colorful juices, and big league chew? it’s all here. expect to spend some time in this store because there’s a lot of goodies and weird sweets (bacon flavored soda??) to browse through.

This shop is amazing! I probably would have passed it up, but my kids wouldn’t let me. I have to say in this instance I was glad. The selection is astonishing — countless varieties of unique sodas and candies old, new, classic and strange (Salt & vineagar bugs? Candied scorpion?). My daughter chose Disney princess gummies, my younger son a Mickey-​shaped lollipop and for me a locally made Oregon Flying Pig Bar and a couple unique colas. Friendly service, too!

Great selection of just EVERYTHING. The most random and obscure brands, fantastic nostalgic candies that are not sold anywhere else, and the option to bulk buy some stuff.
Drawbacks are I happened to have wanted a specific type of gummy that they don’t carry! Sodas are pricey. Also, I haven’t really figured out any rhyme or reason to the organization. Shit is just everywhere!
Huge selection of random junk, cardboard cut outs, old classic tin signs, metal lunch boxes, and prank kick knacks.
Usually find one or two things to go away with, but if you’re not going to try new and weird candy or sodas, you’d find it cheaper elsewhere.

This could almost be your one-​stop shop for any old-​school or hard-​to-​find soda and candy needs, but they don’t have everything. I’d recommend going simply to peruse what they have, but if you have specific requests in mind, I would definitely call ahead to see if they have it.
Prices are a little steep as well. I noticed several of their European candies were more than double the price at Cost Plus World Market.

This is a fun store, so many flavors of pop and candies, even some of the hard to find ones! The owner is is nice and friendly it was a great experience

When I was a little girl I wanted to grow up to be Wilma Wonka, so the grand opening of this candy filled corner in the Progress Ridge development was not to be missed. I love the concept and the location. The people that work there are very nice and the eye & mouth candy is amazing. There is also more to this store than just candy and soda (though there is a lot of both). And, yes, they do have a sugar free section, too!
I love everything except the prices.
I am torn between a 3 star and a 4 star as I appreciate the place but the prices make mall candy stores look cheap — and that’s saying something. I paid nearly $ 3.00 (2.95) for an Astro Pop (you remember those lethal lollipops that were shaped like a prison shiv?) which seemed awfully high for a silly retro candy unless you are having a friend smuggle it to you in high security, which in that case, it’s probably a freakin’ bargain. But just for plain olé’ sucking, they are a bit pricey. Awwww, it’s candy, so that pushes it over the sweet spot to a 4 star review for me.
