Specialties
Pass It On is a seasonal children’s consignment event. We do not have a storefront year round. However, we DO rent a building and create a temporary store and put on amazing sales twice a year! Around 600 families sell with us and we are open to the public for 4 days.
Shoppers browse 100,000 items of gently used and new children’s clothing, shoes, toys, furniture, equipment, books, movies, games, and so much more! We have a great selection of maternity and nursing wear as well as a healthy junior section.
Anyone can register to sell until the deadline (posted on the web site). You enter your items at home in an online database, then print and attach tags, and drop your things off during our Drop Off times (see the Drop Off page of the web site). You can pick up whatever doesn’t sell or choose to Donate to a charity, which we can handle for you. Then wait for a check in the mail, it’s that easy!
Of course if you want to shop, you don’t have to be a seller!
History
Established in 2006.
Pass It On is the oldest children’s consignment sale in Oregon started in January 2006 by a local mom who saw a need in the community and set out to connect sellers and buyers of children’s things. Pass It On maintains a high quality reputation by training a fabulous team of inspectors who physically inspect every item at Drop Off. People love to participate with us! Our sellers enjoy a high sell-through rate and we are a fun crew to work with, our volunteer schedule fills up within 24 hrs of posting the shifts.
Our sale does not necessarily use the same building for every sale. Our location depends on us finding a large (over 30,000 sq ft) building empty in the Hillsboro or Beaverton area (we have outgrown a lot of locations since we started, to keep up with demand). To know when and where the next sale will be, check the web site!
