Dr. Ammon received her degree from University of Mississippi and then completed her residency in Idaho. While in Idaho, she visited Portland and felt immediately at home. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially the interaction with her patients. Dr. Ammon is an active participant in the community, and in her spare time will be found doing outdoor activities, running and a little quite time with a good book and her cat.

Dr. Ammon is professional, compassionate, and friendly. She replaced two crowns for me and they look so much better than my old ones. During procedures she takes the time to make sure I’m comfortable. I never feel like she rushes and she always takes time to listen. Top notch.

I’ve been going to Dr. Ammon since she took over the practice several years ago. People probably won’t believe this about a dentist, but my experiences have been uniformly positive. Always calm, cheerful and professional, Dr. Ammon and her team, Molly and Ann have always been a pleasure to work with. After a difficult oral surgery, I was very impressed that Dr. Ammon gave me an after-​hours number to contact her if I needed help. I didn’t need to bother her, but that sort of personal commitment is just not common these days. I won’t hesitate to whole-​heartedly recommend her and her team to anyone who needs dental work in the greater Portland area.

I’m originally from Alaska so it was my first time finding a new dentist in Oregon. I was very nervous finding a new dentist so I was very lucky finding Dr. Ammon! I had to get an extraction from my top left wisdom tooth and they were able to get me in the day after I called. This group of women know what they’re doing! I was in and out of there in less than an hour. If you’re wanting quality and people who care, go to this place!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Ammon for almost two years now and have nothing but positive things to say about her and the staff. They really do put you at ease and try to make you as comfortable as possible. Scheduling for an appointment is super simple. They provide you with a nice little dental goodie bag when leaving.
