LaBelle nails

I really wish I could give this establishment a better review but two stars is based on the good previous experiences and the last, horrible never-​going-​back experience.
In the past I have been satisfied but this last time was so long and poorly executed that I didn’t even feel like paying for the services.
As I walked in I asked for a manicure and two pedicures after that and was told no problem. They were not that busy so I believed them but they became increasingly busy and did not turn anyone away. So many people were left waiting and getting bothered because they weren’t honest about the timeframe. Because I kept being put on ‘hold’ during my pedi, it took over TWO HOURS. Shame on me for not speaking up but I was enjoying the massage chair.
Last straw was the truly amateur job that they did on the pedi. Seriously, no exaggeration, a small child could have done this just as well. Again I should have spoken up but they didn’t care that I wasn’t happy so I simply wanted to end my experience, pay and get out.
So disappointed.

I have to update: I’ve been back for shellac manis and pedis and my experiences have been good. It’s so close to our house that I ended up going out of convenience, and have gone back because they did a good job.

I like this place. I had Mariya for most of my appointments and she was very nice and professional. I like that they give you shoulder warmer, drinks (including alcohol if that’s what you like) and their manicure cups have piece of lemon. Just small nice touches that make it a better experience. I tried their fancy skrubs not a big fan and mostly I don’t think it’s worth the price, but it depends on your taste. Overall great place. 4 stars are given for inconsistency. A few times I had random girls (Matiya wasn’t working that day) and quality wasn’t good.

Stopped by as a walk in this afternoon for some much needed nail TLC and was wonderfully taken care of. I had a botched set before, and the lovely nail tech who’s name I didn’t catch (a lovely young man), was very gentle and recommended what was best for my nails health.
I told him I’d see them again in two weeks!

Only good thing to say was the girl was sweet. Other than that, I wish you wouldn’t rush your work so much. I couldn’t relax or enjoy getting my nails done which is the only reason i pay 30 dollars (including tip). I am bleeding from my thumb and pinky because you were filing so fast that you missed and took a chunk of skin. Not once but twice. Maybe next time when you draw blood the first time slow down as to not cut me again. Also my nails are uneven. Not a single nail on my hand are remotely shaped like the next one. I do feel this could be remedied if you just took your time a little. Also, I feel you should at least have offered me a discount or a free mani. Instead I leave unsatisfied and had to stop by the store for band aids. Never going back. Too many nail places around that can do a better job. Don’t waste your time here.

Loved my first experience so much, returned promptly to get my shellac removed and changed! I’m a huge skeptic for shellac but mine stayed on over 2 weeks!!! Mimosa on a Saturday morning in a beautiful relaxing spa setting, I’m hooked! I even drive 30 min out of my wAy to come!

I have been coming to LaBelle Nails since the day they have opened and have had an amazing experience each time I go. They are organized & kind team, clean, relaxing atmosphere. They do a great job which has me coming back at least 1 – 2 a month.
Greeted every time I walk in the door with a smile and always willing to accommodate my last minute drop ins (as well make appointments). They have great nail packages depending on your needs at a good price. They offer you a beverage (water, tea and wine for those over 21+) as well a neck warmer!
As well, I have done a team building spa day few months back with the 8 girls on my team and the owner (Amiee) was beyond helpful with setting up and help bring catering.
They have an ATM with no fee’s

The place is new, big, and clean, which I give two stars for, however I left their salon feeling cheated and unhappy.
I went in with my friend. During our treatment, the nail technicians would repeatedly ask if we wanted to upgrade to their more expensive package. We felt uncomfortable after they kept insisting for us to try, to which we firmly said no.
I had a male technician and he was not thorough. He spent more time chatting than focusing on his work. My friend and I started at the same time and I was finished way ahead of her. I love getting pedicures and have visited various salons who do quality jobs. I was not impressed with his lack of detail.
After our services, I used their ATM because I like to give cash tips, but planned to pay with my credit card for our services. When I was using their ATM, the nail technician informed us that they accept «CASH ONLY». Red flag! Excuse me, there were NO signs displaying at the front of their salon that this establishment accepts cash only. That’s a trap and I did not like that. Surprise, surprise, but they did have a credit card swiper hidden. I told them I did not have cash because I was not aware this place was cash only. The technician gave a disappointed look and reluctantly said that I could use my credit card.
I do not recommend this place. Overpriced services and hungry for customers to pay more than needed.

I went to this nail salon since it is walking distance to my home. I did a walk in wanting a pedicure. When I walked in I was asked «How can I help you?» I said I wanted a pedicure and was told to come back in 20 min. Twenty minutes later I went back and was asked the exact same question by the exact same lady. I felt like I was a bother to this lady since all of the employees there were busy. They finally set me in the chair and let my feet soak in the water for awhile. I did like how I was offered something to drink and given a neck warmer. The lady who was working on me did a good job and the massage was nice but she had to cough in the middle of my massage and coughed on my foot. While getting my pedicure there were about 6 different people that came in. A few of them were told to come back in twenty minutes (then had the same experience I did, when coming back after 20 minutes). Those individuals still had to wait longer after the 20 minutes and were still waiting when I left the salon. There were also 3 different people that were turned away that wanted a walk in pedicure. I feel that if this business is going to be successful they need to have more staff to accommodate walk in customers. I also think the one lady who kept asking «How can I help you?» when everyone walked in was a bit abrupt. I was hoping to like this salon since it’s such a close walk from my house but I will continue to go to the nail salon I have been going to for years which is about 5 miles away.

I want to like this place more but I struggled with a few key things that rubbed me the wrong way. Let me preface this with I’m a licensed nail tech myself and decided to try this new location on a whim. First the good:
They offer tea or water during your service.
They offer a heated neck wrap.
The color selection is pretty good.
They called me by name
This salon is pretty much like most nail salons, nothing that sets them apart or makes them super unique.
Now for my issues:
I had the owner/​manager «Jennifer» who did great work however her constant talking to the other gals, the stopping every few minutes to look at her clip board, and her obvious attention to everything going on but me made this pedicure anything but relaxing. You are so rude for talking in your native language non stop and not giving me the full salon experience I paid for. Highly disappointed.
She did not do a base coat or top coat. I had to ask her for a top coat on my big toes to cover the flower she did.
She kept the toe separater and put it in a drawer (the same drawer where clean supplies were kept) first of all those are disposable. Second of all by simply throwing them in the drawer she’s now contaminated everything in that drawer by state regulation.
Lastly, they don’t accept credit/​debit but conveniently have an atm… That’s sketchy in my opinion. At the very least they could have square but nope! That’s extremely inconvenient.
My final options: I won’t be back until after a state health inspection. The salon is average.
After she finished my pedicure and I was drying she started another pedicure. A few minutes into it she came back to me to do the top coat and put on the flip flops and she kept on the same pair of gloves! ! So she touched some strangers feet and then mine and then went back to the gal with the same pair on! SO GROSS. If one of us had a fungus or bacteria, hello transfer!

This place just opened up near my house and after having problems at my old nail salon I decided to give this place a try and I’m happy I did! The staff is very nice and accommodating, they were really busy due to the opening but I managed to get in and get a full set and a pedicure! Amy who did my nails was excellent and very nice, I will definitely be a regular here.

This new and beautiful salon is in the new Timberland/​Market of Choice Shopping Center out at 118^th and Barnes Road. I have been a patron of this owner for more than 15 years. She just keeps upping the ante with these salons. This one features 14 pedicure chairs and 10 manicure stations. It’s lovely and relaxing and they even offer complementary tea, wine, or champagne. Ahhhhhh…
