This is my go to teriyaki place. Has been since I was a kid. They are very good and reasonably priced. Today I had their Spicy Chicken lunch special for just under $ 7 and it included a drink. Sorry that a few others have had negative experiences, but I have never had a bad experience. :)

Had the teriyaki chicken… it was dry and a bit chewy. Definitely wouldn’t go back again. There’s better options around the area.

I was not pleased, look Restaurant up on Unilocal, was very eager to get in touch with them and place my order for delivery only to be told that they do not deliver! On both of their sites it states that they do deliver with excitement and enthusiasm ! Hence the reason I was excited but should have prepared myself for the let down. Really wish I was living in New York right now the mecca of delivery.

I live close to here as well as some of the other people that reviewed this place. It’s actually a good place to get some teriyaki chicken and other dishes and actually tastes better than some places I’ve been to. They always seem to give pretty good size portions as well so a pretty good value.

No, no, no. If this is what you people call«good teriyaki», you’re out of your mind. Thin, dry, flavorless meat, it was like chicken jerky. Check out the pictures of my meal. The portion wasn’t large, but it didn’t matter cause I threw that garbage away. You’re better off with a teriyaki chicken bowl from Jack in the Box.

Like most patrons I live in the neighborhood and that is why I will continue to eat here. This is good teriyaki, with good portions and cheap prices. I got a chicken teriyaki plate with good sticky rice, cabbage & veggies, and 2 homemade spring rolls for under $ 7. The restaurant is clean, has a good amount of seating, free refills on the soda, and free hot tea. The staff was friendly and gracious.

Fast cheap good food. I expected to need to spice up the sauce with the provided sri racha sauce, but was pleasantly surprised with a tasty not too sweet teriyaki. Portions are a little large and pot stickers are deep fried. Take those as positives or negatives as you will.

My daughter and I went there tonight for some takeout. The woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I normally go to Hapa Grill at Murray Hill but this place is so close to my house I decided to try it. I almost always order Teriyaki chicken with brown rice. Tonight was no exception. To my disappointment, they were out of brown rice so ended up with white.(that’s why I rated this place 4 instead of 5 stars) We were both famished so were pleased when we opened our take out boxes and saw how much rice, steamed veggies, and chicken there was! Even though I’m not a huge fan of white rice, this was cooked perfectly… slightly sticky even. The chicken was so moist and flavorful it practically melted in my mouth. Yum… All this for 5.00 and some change. I will have enough left over for lunch tomorrow even. Considering Hapa is much more expensive and this is just as good,(or even better) I will definitely return. Next time I just hope they have brown rice. :)

Cheap. Friendly service. What you see(pictures on the menu) is what you get. It’s a family own, I called in to place an order after they were closed and they still took it. i didn’t know they were closed til I got to the door at 830, I placed the order at 820. And saw that they close at 8.

I wanted to try something new and fresh that wouldn’t make me depressed when I stood on the scale the next day. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty my meal was.

The owners are rude. They play Christian music 24⁄7. They charge as much as any other grill in the area however their portions are half the size of any other restaurant I have been to. The meat is dry and flavorless and the sauce tastes like an old ashtray. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Easily the best teriyaki place around. The location is pretty terrible, what with the traffic on Murray being perpetually backed up, especially at lunchtime and the state of disrepair the parking lot asphalt seems to be in, but it’s totally worth it. You won’t find anything dripping in puddles of sauce or oil like you might at some of the teriyaki joins further into town, and you can substitute your white rice for brown rice if that’s your thing. The lunch specials are cheap, well-portioned, and always delicious.
