Along with concealed carry classes for the Oregon Concealed Handgun License (Oregon CHL) and Utah Concealed Firearms Permit (Utah CFP) we also teach the Refuse To Be A Victim seminar, several other NRA Certified classes, plus one-​on-​one firearms training instruction.

While «Keep Calm and Carry» just sounds like a clever play on the popular internet sensation, it is actually a reminder that you always have the option to defend yourself. Whether it be a pistol, pepper spray, or self-​defense training, you can learn what you need to know to keep yourself safe. Equipped with the knowledge to protect yourself, you can live a healthier, happier life, with greater personal security and confidence. When you know how to protect yourself and your loved ones, you carry one less stress in your life.

History

Established in 2013.

The owner and instructor of Keep Calm and Carry is Laurie Winslow, a registered member of the NRA, NAGR, OFF and a registered instructor through USA Carry. She is a 2^nd Amendment enthusiast, but knows that safety is key when it comes to handling deadly firearms. She is dedicated to sharing her knowledge, especially with other women, and anyone who wants to become a better shooter.

Laurie herself continues to take classes and educate herself about the most advanced and relevant information, in order to bring that information back to her classes and students. She knows that the best teachers continue learning along with their students. As she continues to gain certifications, she will be able to offer an even wider range of classes in the future.
