Great Professional Nails

I haven’t had service this good in years. Vinny did the best coffin nails that I have ever seen. In addition he was quick. You can’t ask for better technical ability, service, and I was out in under an hour. I will be back.

Excellent customer service every time and my nails always come out looking great. Vinny especially does a fantastic job.

I really like this place. It’s my regular go-​to pedicure place. I don’t know if it warrants a five star review, but it’s pretty darn good. I’m definitely «a fan,» as it says next to the stars.
It’s clean. They sell a kit for a buck. There’s a coupon for first time folks (if you tell them), and my toes are usually painted and looking good for a few weeks after I get them done.
There’s a nice massage of the feet/​legs, a hot towel, some warm stones, and there’s water if you don’t bring your own. Maybe even other drinks. I don’t know.
The folks who do the nails are nice, and I like going. My feet are touchable when I leave. What more could a gal ask?

My friend and I got amazing pedicures! The staff was wonderful. Very attentive and polite. I will definitely be coming back.

I’ve visited this nail salon three times now, and I’m pretty pleased with my experience. Then again, who wouldn’t be pleased enjoying a complimentary beverage while your legs are massaged? I favor the green jasmine tea they serve. Everyone has been friendly to me thus far, and they seem to pay close attention to detail. I’ve requested specific detailing twice, and instead of giving me the typical «we can’t do that» I’m accustom to receiving, they are willing to try — and have succeeded. During your first visit, you’re allowed to select a raffle from a bowl, I assume the prizes vary, but I selected a $ 5 off coupon. You’re also given a punch card to use towards future rewards and there is a birthday discount when your ID is presented. I recommend saving some images to your phone gallery of what you’d like done. I do this because I’m not good at describing the geometry of the designs I want. Call in advance to make an appointment.

I had a wonderful technician named Teresa. She was lovely to talk to and my nails are beautiful!
The only reason I’m doing 4 instead of 5 stars is because they didn’t tell me there would be a kit fee (it’s yours afterwards) if I didn’t bring my own. I LOVE the idea! It just would have been great to know that when I called for prices.

My sister and I were in need of pedicures BADLY. They were able to squeeze us in for a mani/​pedi first thing Saturday morning and did a fabulous job. Super nice people. Atmosphere was comfortable. Nails look amazing. They have a large selection of colors for both regular polish and shellac. I will be back.

Went in for a shellac manicure. Very clean and quite. Many choices of shellac color. It was my first time here so I got to draw from a raffle. I won an eyebrow wax for next visit!
It has been 2 weeks and a half and my nails hasn’t chipped off yet.

Vinny rocks!!! He’s particular, meticulous, and very precise! Will not let you go until he’s absolutely satisfied! They’re so busy here that it’s appointments only now but, it never hurts to check in

Worst manicure of my life not professional huge fail

Vinnie did an excellent job on my shellac manicure. He took his time to make sure there were no bubbles or thick spots, which I greatly appreciated.

I got a pedicure at Great Professional Nails last night. It was my first visit. I was really surprised at how friendly everyone there was! They smiled a lot and were just really nice, which is so refreshing compared to a lot of the other nail salons I’ve been to. I don’t like to chat while I’m getting my nails done, and they were very respectful of that. They let me use my nail kit from another place I go to rather than purchasing one of theirs. The price was very reasonable ($ 25 before tip). I’ll definitely be going back.

This place is out of my way, but I stopped by to get a pedicure on my way to visit a friend. That was 3 weeks ago. I have never had a pedicure last so long! Everybody was very friendly, especially Brittany, the woman that did my toes. She also gave the best leg/​foot massage I have had at a nail salon! Even though it is out of my way, I’m back for another pedicure before I go on vacation.

Went in today for a full set of acrylics and my mom got a pedicure. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with friendly faces. I had my nails done by Ann. She was so sweet and attentive and a hoot to talk to! It was our first time coming in so we got to draw from a raffle and we both won $ 5 gift cards! Nice little bonus.
We are both very very happy with our nails– they look great.
Will definitely be back

Back here for the 2^nd time & am still very happy with the services here.
Great color choices & very clean.
They also offer you yea, water or soda while you get your service done which is a nice touch.
Also hot rocks under your feet while your nails dry — awesome!

I was referred by my clients and sure enough, great service. Choice of color and designs were many. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and staff there were very attending. I will go back again.

My usual place was closed unexpectedly so I wandered over here 15 minutes before they were supposed to close. They not only stayed open to give me and my friend pedicures but they took their time. $ 25 for a pedicure also — and not a stripped down one. It still came with paraffin and everything. They did a wonderful job on my nails as well. They have a stamp card to earn a free pedicure and even gave me a $ 5 coupon for next time! I will be back considering the old place I went was $ 30 – 40. Pro tip — if you use cash instead of debit/​credit they give you a discount!!!

After going to four different salons in SW Portland (within two miles of this place) I finally (thanks to Unilocal) found Great Professional Nails, and their name doesn’t lie.
If you love shellac like myself, they have a ton of colors to choose from. The employees are friendly.
I won’t try any other place in SW Portland other than here! It’s best to make an appointment a few days in advance though since they’re so popular and fill up quickly.
