History

Established in 2002.

Dr. Sawhill graduated from National College of Natural Medicine (aka Naturopathic) in 2001. She is a board certified naturopathic primary care physician with an emphasis on physical medicine, hormones, nutrition and diet. She moved her practice to the present location near Tanasbourne in 2008. Dandelion Naturopathic P.C. also offers medical massage therapy with licensed massage therapists on site for relaxation and/​or recovery.

Naturopathic Physician — Kathryn Sawhill N.D.

Dr. Sawhill’s background is varied. Her father was a pathologist and she grew up with the love of medicine and science. In the 80’s, she began her journey into non-​conventional medicine studying and practicing massage therapy and botanical medicine. She received a B.A. in Spanish and later went on to become a physician. In 2001, she graduated with a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) degree. One of the major advantages of naturopathic medicine is that it can address and greatly improve every health situation. Dr. Sawhill treats babies, children, teens, and men and women in all stages of life. Most importantly, she would like to help make apparent each person’s own healing power and then to help facilitate that healing. Dr. Sawhill believes we are here to thrive and it is in our nature to gravitate towards wellness. The more people who can experience that ever-​elusive sense of well-​being, the better.
