History

Established in 2005.

Since I was a kid I have known that I wanted to be involved in some kind of physical medicine. In College, my wife introduced me to her Chiropractor who taught me about Chiropractic and showed me the powerful affects adjustments can have on people’s health. I ended up doing a two year internship in a Chiropractic clinic while in college which further reinforced my confidence in the profession. After Chiropractic school my wife and I moved to the Portland area and opened Colner Family Chiropractic in the fall of 2005. Eight years have gone quickly by and we have built an amazing patient base. I hope to continue to build relationships within the Beaverton/​Portland community and help make it a healthier place to live.

I grew up in a beach community just north of San Diego, California where I spent most of my free time in the surf. I went to Pepperdine University and received a BS in Sports Medicine. Right after graduation I married my college sweet heart and we moved up to the San Francisco bay area where I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic-​West. We moved to Portland in the early part of 2003 and I opened Colner Family Chiropractic in 2005. My wife and I love the North West and everything it has to offer and we consider it home.

So I Unilocaled Dr. Seth Colner awhile back and he messaged me back. I looked around too but decided this would be a good place to start for my family and I. Although its very early on Seth or Dr. Colner (he goes by either) is great! My kids and my wife have been well cared for. If you have not gone to a chiropractor bc you think its quack talk with Seth. He knows his science! Interned with the Olympic Polo Coach who also does chiropractic care. He has a team approach lol! Seriously I really liked my conversation and 1st experience. Many times we need something for our health and I am confident that Dr. Colner can help you consider options. There are quacks in this world but Seth is not one of them. He is a provider of health and laughter. You will be glad you went here. Yes you do need to complete some papers and questions but this only helps him care better for you! Thx Doc!

Judy S. I feel sorry for you to give up Dr. Colner’s treatment over stupid website office hour discrepancy. You spew so much negativity over one stupid ridiculous reason to make this place look like a crap, guess what you are dead wrong.
Their website is very well organized, it tells you what to expect on the first visit with approximate length of visit, and even has PDF form to download to fill the medical information at home instead of showing up early to fill that out. I was pretty impressed at this point, and when I actually received my first treatment I fell in love with place. Dr. was very knowledgeable, polite, honest, and informative. STOP YOUR SEARCHES FOR YOUR DR AND GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY.

Dr. Colner is caring, personable, and got results. His office is first rate and his staff is friendly and professional. I visited Dr. Colner for some pretty terrible tingling and pain. Dr. Colner and his staff were able to find the trouble areas with adjustments and targeted ESTIM therapy that really helped me turn the corner in my healing. Thanks guys.

I really try my best to reserve the 5-​star rating for businesses that truly deserve this honor… my friends, you have found your chiropractor! The office staff are genuinely kind and caring and want you to have a great experience. When I first moved to the Portland area and was looking for a chiropractor, I called Dr. Colner’s office. When I heard the answering machine tell me the office hours and I realized I called before the office was open, I hung up and decided to call back once they opened. A few minutes later I received a call from the doctor himself asking what he could do to help me. I made my appointment and went in that day.
I have a small child and the office staff loved seeing her and watched over her while I was seeing the doctor. I felt at ease knowing my daughter was happy and occupied.
Dr. Colner isn’t a typical chiropractor who does his adjustment and leaves the room. He spent time with me to explain why I hurt and what I could do different to help the same aches from reoccurring.
It was a sad day to leave Portland and my favorite chiropractor. Make Dr. Colner your chiropractor, you’ll be happy you did!

It doesn’t get any friendlier than this! Normally going to any doctor can be a little intimidating, but I felt I was among friends from the start. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, from the front desk to the adjustment table I feel informed and pampered. I’ve asked Dr. Colner all kinds of questions about my treatment, past injuries, and how my ample bust could affect my posture and spinal health and he’s always answered satisfactorily and professionally. Some days laying on that table with hot packs and electric stimuli patches buzzing away just really feel like I’m getting the royal treatment.
I really look forward to my visits, and I recommend their office to my friends and family.
Oh! And they just remodeled to include a pre-​adjustment stretching room, a new massage room, and they are trying to enlist a practitioner for acupuncture treatments too! Talk about one-​stop shopping!

My back has never known happiness like this before. The gals at the front desk are really friendly, and Dr. Colner is GREAT. He’s really nice and he knows a lot about bones.
