Cedar Crest

I moved into the Cedar Crest Apartments about 4 months ago and I cannot wait until my lease is up. I moved in here with a friend when I was in a pinch to find a place near my new job. My unit at least is nothing like the pictures. Our floor has water damage and «dips» through out the kitchen and hall way. The floor of the shower creeks loudly. The flooring in the bathroom isn’t even parallel with the wall! At first the unit was fine but now it is a night mare and we are constantly calling for repairs. The drain in the main bath (sink and tub) barely drain, even after repairs and drain cleaners. The bathroom fan also stopped working and we had to call twice to have it fixed. The fridge has a constant leak so bad that it will pool up on the bottom and get all over the floor when you open the crisper. There are no over head lights in the bedrooms so you better go lamp shopping. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors in the bathroom. The heaters barely work and no a/​c. And the garbage bins are always over flowing. The parking is one of the worst things about this place. There is not enough parking yet people are double parking in the paid for spaces. Not to mention the kids running through the lot day and night. There are now ants coming through a hole in a bedroom wall (we keep things spotless and no food in the room) and we are forking out a lot of cash to get rid of the problem because their solution was putting a little caulking in the hole. Not worth the price at all. Save your self some stress and keep looking.

I’ve enjoyed living here! No complaints thus far… most of my neighbors and the office staff are helpful and friendly — Zach is awesome! My kids and I thoroughly enjoy the year-​round, indoor pool, and the gym is very clean and convenient. Good location :) This is a large complex, so parking isn’t the best but it is what it is. These aren’t new buildings, so you might hear your neighbors every so often. Barring any future challenges, I’d recommend!

It’s so ghetto here. I can hear my neighbors pee and do everything else. They stay up late and keep us up. Parking is a joke. If you live here pay the extra money for a spot otherwise you’ll be parking super far from your apartment. I have had issues with things since I’ve been here. I’m embarrassed to call anymore cause I feel like they are going to think I’m never satisfied. But the point is things just need fixing. They have been good but slow at getting things done. If you are thinking about staying here. Don’t. I can’t wait til our time is up here. I will say Zack in the office is super friendly and helpful. Our one positive from this place.
