History

Established in 1993.

Broadway Saloon was re-established in 1993 in an old building that previously housed the Hunt and Fish Tavern and, quite possibly prior to that, the Beaverton Jail. The iron bars were still on the back windows during the ’93 renovation — this time keeping people from getting in rather than escaping!

The name and décor were inspired by the taverns and saloons of Virginia City, Nevada, a western mining town where in 1863 Samuel Langhorne Clemens began publishing under the pen name Mark Twain. Beaverton’s Broadway Saloon has character reminiscent of places like the Delta, the lively Bucket of Blood, the Union Brewery (where the beer is still made downstairs), and the Mark Twain, a saloon named in honor of Virginia City’s favorite son.

Although it is not likely that you will hear the organ grinder or see the weary miner having an «after-shifter,» you will enjoy great food, an unforgettable atmosphere and prices low enough to make eating out an everyday pleasure!

Meet the Business Owner

Todd and Carla C.

Business Owner

We purchased the Broadway Saloon as our second location after Morgys Pub and Grill in Hillsboro in 2010. Carla likes to joke that no one would give her a job so we had to buy her one :) — The Broadway has a unique history and if you haven’t heard it, come in and ask about it. We love running both our locations now. they are totally unique but we are striving for the same fun, friends, and service in both locations. Yelpers are our secret shoppers! please friend us, drop us a note, and tell us what’s going on. Carla trys to be everywhere at once, and Todd has a day job in vancouver that he loves except the drive. so stop in, make some friends, find us on facebook, twitter, yelp and make sure we know who you are next time you are in one of the locations! Thanks for Visiting
