Description

Specialties

We are a mixed age group that supports the needs and development of children birth-2nd grade. Our beautiful home like school is the best of both worlds in that it is ran from a 1940’s home located on a wooded lot for an outdoor connection with nature and the entire house is the school so children have plenty of room to engage in their classrooms and gather together in the large kitchen for meal times. With a low ratio of 1 – 5 and a fun energetic attitude towards learning and growing the children in our care know they are loved, enjoyed, supported and seen. Our families have years of knowledge to lean on as they too grow through the experience of parenting. We are a loving, supportive, eclectic, and welcoming community.

History

Established in 2012.

Dani and Heidi, met at PCC furthering their education in Early Childhood Education (ECE). As we realized our strengths and shared passion we decided to open a school together. Teacher Dani grew up in a household filled with discussion of child development as her Mother worked nights to obtain her degree in ECE at a time when this was a new and emerging field, and then followed in those foot steps. Teacher Heidi, originally with a mind to enter the business world, struggled to find quality care for her two young children (now 20 and 23). She opened her first Child Care in 1997 and continued on that career path becoming more and more thrilled and inspired. We choose the name All The Colors We Are as we have both faced diversity in our lives and aim to embrace all beliefs and celebrate each child and families uniquenesses and similarities. We offer much more then custodial care as we take the time to observe and get to know each child and teach to their development and interests.
