A Oregon Decorative Rock

Rude, unhelpful. Took two deliveries to get it here even though we were home the whole time. when I tried to verify my order they were dismissive of my questions and then hung up on me. Not recommended.

I have worked with the folks at Oregon Decorative Rock to landscape a handful of yards over the years. The employees are good at what they do. Be prepared to either answer their questions about your project or leave with the questions you should be asking yourself.
Even with my experience building rock walls I’m ALWAYS asked, «Well, how high are you going to build this thing? How long do you want it to be?» Followed by, «Well you’ll be able to cover X amount of ground at X dollars per square foot with this material, and even though it’s got a cheaper price per pound you’re still better off with this other stone…» And so it goes… every time… MATH!
I really enjoy their beautiful selection of rock — pavers, flagstone, wall rock — specifically their quartz. And I really enjoy working with the guys on whatever I’ve decided is my Spring or Summer or Winter or maybe even Fall project.
They deliver, too, when 1 ton of rock just won’t fit in the back of your favorite Range Rover.

Oregon decorative rock has the best quality landscaping product, as well as outstanding customer service. Unlike other rock yards, I was helped immediately after I was parked, and didn’t have to lift anything. Everything was weighed and loaded in the car for me. The sales staff is also very knowledgeable. This is THE place to go to for landscaping material.

Nice little rock yard with quite a variety of stuff considering the small lot. Clean, helpful employees. They even carry lots of healing gemstones for your yard — not something you see much of in most of these types of places.

Rock comes from the earth. Often that means, with our antiquated mining laws, that the price is the price of transportation. And hard rock is heavy!
So if you need rock, find a place nearby that has it, and a cheap means of transport from them to you. Their prices reflect the transportation costs from the earth to their site.

They have gravel, round river stones, boulders, pavers, flat slabs, garden bubbly pond-​fountain rocks, Northwest basalt and more. A range of colors and prices. I’ve purchased the Mexican river rocks, gravel and E Oregon flat lava type rock at this location. I’m the first to formulate a non-​slip exposed aggregate concrete for steps and paths with their product and my concrete guy — hint ¼−3/8 clean crush NW basalt.
Even indoor Unilocalers may find their sorted by color and size, round and polished rocks, in bags, useful, moveable to your next spot.
Most rocks are sold by the pound or ton. Bring your vehicle, weigh empty, select. load, weigh out and pay. They can deliver for a fee, but the more tonage you are buying, the more economical in total.
They are smart and helpful in telling you the tons per square foot of coverage if you purchase flat rocks to cover a wall, path or patio. Everyone I’ve encountered is very customer oriented.
