We’ve had two visits here now. The first was on a super busy Saturday night. We had three great pizzas shared around a table of four, and several delicious beers. The second visit was on a super slow, rainy Saturday afternoon, for a beer. The pizzas were tasty, and it appears the kitchen cares about the product they send out. The beer selection is broad enough that they have a good representation of many styles. The service was fine on both visits. Not especially speedy, but friendly and knowledgeable. A couple more tvs in the bar area would be welcome. We’ll be back.

Top pizza joint in town. It’s not just the pizza that rocks, we have had their wings and salads too. Everything has been fabulous every time including the service. If you are looking for good pizza and beer, look no further !

Pies & Pints is one of the restaurants located at The Greene. It’s a pretty big place, kind of dark, but would probably be good for big groups. I’m not sure if it gets busy or not, but I would probably guess that it does. We went to Pies & Pints on a cold and snowy day, so the restaurant wasn’t too full. There weren’t even many people at The Greene. We were seated right away! If you want to be comfortable, I would recommend asking to sit in the booths or the tables near the front of the restaurant. Otherwise, the alternative is the tall stools at the back of the restaurant,(One side is a bench, the other is a stool) where your feet will be dangling and you’re just sitting on an immovable stool. At least with the booth you can slide around. Anyway, our server was super nice and friendly! She was super thorough with the menu, and recommended the char grilled wings as the appetizer. Don’t worry, you’d think it was spicy from the description on the menu, but it wasn’t too spicy. And the gorgonzola sauce wasn’t too bad. Not too gorgonzola-ish in case you didn’t like blue cheese. The wings came out a little burnt, but it was delicious and moist. I like that it’s a dry wing so that it isn’t all soggy. If you want to try two kind of pizzas, they do half/half pizzas! But only if you order the large size. I got a large house pie, with white sauce, and added pork sausage, mushrooms, caramelized onion, and olives. The pizza came out great! There was a ton of garlic in the white pizza. Even whole chunks of garlic. I took some out. We couldn’t finish the whole pizza so we took some home. It wasn’t too bad reheated the next day. I would come back!

WOW pizza is great in this joint. Located in Yuppieville USA(Giant shopping«lifestyle» center, this place is a comfortable beer joint with a gazillion choices of drafts at reasonable prices. We got a margarita pie and a meaty pie both were outstanding not like carry out [although lots of people do that].Forget the shopping at the Greene just go to Pies and Pints.

Where do I begin. I first had Pies & Pints in the spring of 2013 at the Fayetteville WV location. Since then I have visited the Charleston WV, Easton Columbus OH, and now the Beavercreek Dayton OH location for a total of 8 visits. I recently moved semi close to this location so I decided to make my rave review here. Walking in I have always gotten prompt seating and very fast and friendly service. My waiter or waitress on every visit has been very polite, energetic, as well as exceptionally knowledgeable with the food and beer options. Now the food. The hot wings are by far the best I have ever had. The sweet subtle heat from being marinated in sriracha, then char grilled, is unforgettable. The gorgonzola sauce that comes with the wings is very unique, I even put it on my pizza. I have tried several of the pies. My favorite by far the the white pie. I loved it so much that I tried recreating it in my own kitchen. I got close but not exact. They do have some unusual combinations on the menu but nothing too crazy. I used to drive 2 plus hours to get to a location and willingly would still do so. Do yourself a favor. Visit your nearest Pies & Pints and Get Some!

Excellent Customer Service. Was there with a large office gathering. One individual’s order was incorrect and another one didn’t receive a meal(kitchen mistake). So, the manager made things right, but giving both individuals a free meal. I had a large Grilled Chicken salad and it was delicious. Everyone else had pizzas and loved them.

This place was orgasmic. Started with the Greek salad– perfect. They have two dressings, both are great. Had a Fat Head Holly Jolly at the recommendation of the waitress– also amazing. I usually drink Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, and this was comparable. Moved on to the Chipotle Chicken pizza and that was delicious. Made of the good spices– love that. Definitely recommend!!!

Yum! I went here for the first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised. This is the first pizza I’ve liked since moving to Ohio 3 months ago. The crust is wonderful and they have unique made-from scratch sauces and toppings. We ordered the fall special pizza without bacon, sub grapes. It was delightful with roasted pear, caramelized onions and goat cheese. I would order this again for sure ! I’m not a beer drinker but the group I came with enjoyed the drinks too! Our server was friendly and well-informed. The overall dining experience was nice except it was a bit too loud and waiting space is limited before being seated. They don’t take reservations but you can call 30 min before you arrive for less of a wait time. Honestly I’ll probably carry out my next order.

I love this place! We have had a great server both times here and the choices for a gluten-free eater cannot be topped! Sandwiches are top-notch, fantastic wings and great pizza make this my favorite place to grub. My only regret is chowing down before I think to take pictures.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Pies and Pints, and I could not be more pleased with my choice! A group of six adults got seated immediately on a Sunday afternoon, and we got prompt service. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the beer and food on the menu. He even brought my brother samples of pumpkin beers when the beer he wanted was sold out. We got the steak and mushroom pizza and the chicken gouda pizza. Both were excellent! They came out fresh and hot, and were packed with flavor. I loved how fresh the ingredients were, and I appreciated that the pizza wasn’t dripping with grease. We also had garlic bread for the table, and was quite pleased with it, too. While we all enjoyed the beers we tried, I would like to see more variety. Though Pies and Pints has a large beer menu, there is an overwhelming amount of IPAs, especially on tap. I’m not a huge fan of IPAs, so my choices were rather limited.

Been to Pies & Pints a number of times — both eat-in and take-out. Pizza is fabulous, really good zesty sauce and tons of cheese. Salads and homemade dressings are very tasty and large enough to feed a small army(which is what I’m usually ordering for). The only reason P&P gets four stars versus five is because service is hit or miss. You either get really good service or very little at all. There doesn’t seem to be an in-between. Because they are so popular, don’t be in a hurry to get somewhere else, especially during the weekends. Overall, really nice place to relax with family and friends.

Good place. The pizza is great. I had the chicken provolone. Also split a small Caesar salad with my wife which was delicious. Beer selection is very good. In addition to having multiple IPA’s they had a fine selection of malty beers. I had the Weheinstephaner Festbier and then a Fuller’s London Pride. Service was good despite being crowded. I also liked that they texted you when your table is ready so you don’t have to sit around.

The food was phenomenal. In addition to great food, the service was fantastic and Jessica is really an A+ asset to this company. You need to replicate her enthusiasm.(She’s wonderful!) This was my first time to this restaurant and I would return to this location again. Oh yeah, the receptionist was also very cordial and welcoming. Thank you for a great dining experience.

This was our second visit to Pies and Pints. We are not fond of sitting at barstool type tables so they initially put us in the back area but was occupied by a large family with very young children which included a small baby that was crying and could not be comforted by the parents. We asked to be moved and they were very accommodating. I really have nothing against babies, even raised a couple kids myself and been through the scenario of not being able to quiet them. Although I was usually mindful of other customers and took the child outside. But in their defense, they were in the back room I assume at their request and until we got there they were alone so it we kind of intruded on them. Anyway I digressed. Once we were re-seated, our waitress, Brittney, promptly took our drink order. My husband was uncertain on which beer he wanted so they offered a small flight selection based on his individual tastes. The only downfall to this place is they don’t have a full liquor license so they can only serve beer and wine. Not being a beer drinker, I ordered a Merlot and later a Pinot Noir. They were fine but nothing special but this really isn’t a big issue. You don’t come here for the wine. The place is called Pies and Pints for a reason. We ordered a large pizza with some normal toppings but my husband has to have anchovies and I have to have jalapenos and there was no problem with accommodating us. It took very little time for it to come out and it was amazing. In my opinion if a pizza doesn’t have a decent tomato sauce it doesn’t matter what else is on it and their tomato sauce was very good. Now I have to talk about our server, Brittany. She was the BEST! She was so friendly and personable. She knew all about the different beers. We even had a small discussion about the anchovies not touching my side of the pizza. She totally got that! She took time to chat about her favorite brewery which I recognized as a place my daughter has been too. When my husband wanted another beer they didn’t have exactly what he was looking for but she was able discuss the merits of an alternative very well. Actually all the staff was extremely friendly. I almost didn’t want to leave. I’ll(we’ll) be back!

It is rare when we leave a restaurant talking about the AMAZING service we received. Not that we usually receive bad service, just that its typically not a point of conversation unless we are really impressed and this place REALLY impressed us. Four of us dined here on a week night so the place wasn’t super busy and we scored a seat right by the open window. It was lovely atmosphere and the seats were perfect. The food was wonderful — especially the wings! One person in our party actually ordered some to go. There is a unique selection of pizzas. We tried a regular pepperoni, a thai shrimp, and margherita. They were a little skimpy on the marinara sauce but were overall really delicious. Now, back to the service. Our waiter(I really wish I remembered his name) was knowledgable, generous, personable and went out of his way to make sure he understood our interests before making a recommendation. On one of the pizzas we had it split with the Thai Shrimp and then the margherita and when he brought it out the Thai sauce had seeped onto the other side. Before even setting the pizza down on the table the server had already asked the kitchen to make us a new personal margherita pizza. He actually even boxed it up for us so we could enjoy it later. We will be back here to try more of the interesting combos!

Tl;dr must Get wings. Cuban pork and thai shrimp pizzas are fabulous. Huge beer selection. Great service. I’ve been here twice and I am impressed with service, beer selection, and food each time! The pizzas are always piping hot and packed full of flavor. Our favs include thai shrimp and Cuban pork. But we never forget to start our meal with the wings! They’re award winning and for good reason! They’re not your typical wings! They have this charred flavor that is smoky and it is dry rubbed so they’re not too sticky or sweet at all! It’s a unique wing experience that must be had by all. Beer selection is impressive, and if you’re a good Daytonian like me, you’ll be super jazzed to find out p&p is serving up toxic brew on tap! REPRESENTDYT! Servers are always sweet and timely but don’t hover at the table too much! Keep fightin’ the good fight P&P. You’re a food chain, but I love you. Great add to dayton, and in my opinion you beat out mellow M and Dewys combined!

The staff was very nice. The cook took a personal request and made a pepperoni smiley face on my daughter’s pizza. She loved it. The wings are the best wings I have ever eaten! The sauce to dip them in is extraordinary too! My husband agreed! We got a half Italian pizza half chicken Gouda and I would recommend both pizzas to anyone. I can’t wait to go back again!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I am mega, super, ultimate fan of their char grilled wings. It’s basically all I get when we go there. I am not much for speciality pizza(I’m a peperoni & mushroom kind of girl), but these pizzas are wonderful!

Highly recommend doing ½ and ½ on a large pizza so that you can try more of their specialty pizzas. We went for a spicy combo of sriracha chicken(instead of shrimp) on ½ and black bean(with added pulled pork) on the other ½. Both were tweaks from what was listed on the menu, but were specifically recommended by out waiter. He did not fail us! The sriracha chicken started out sweet due to the pineapple, but finished with plenty of head as the sriracha crème sauce kicked in. The black bean started out a but stringer due to the salsa and jalapeños, but the marinated pulled pork added a ton of extra flavor. As with all P&Ps pizza, the real star is the crust. Of course we had a nice selection of beers from their revolving beer board, including Abita Purple Haze, Two Brothers Domaine DuPage, Rhinegeist Truth, and Elevator Xtra.
