Dr. Stragand is an incredible doctor. When my husband and I moved to the area from out of state we had a hard time finding a good family doctor we could trust. A friend recommended this practice. One visit and I knew our search was over. ** The facilities and clean and up-​to-​date. The staff are courteous. Dr. Stragand is our favorite doctor in this practice. He is an excellent listener and his bedside manner makes you feel like you are a good friend. He is sincere and honest. He is very competent and knowledgable. He treats us as unique individuals. But what means the most to us is that he respects our decisions to pursue more natural options first, then proceed with pharmaceuticals if necessary.

I know, I know. I changed doctors again, and this practice is out of our way in Chippewa, but it was only at my girlfriend’s insistence. Kay’s been with Dr. Jarod Stragand for many years and refuses to go to any other primary care physician, and after spending an hour in his office, the reasons behind her loyalty were evident.
The spry, lean man, youthful for a doctor, greeted me with a firm handshake and an exuberance I haven’t witnessed from a health care professional in many years.
Don’t let me be misunderstood. I respect and appreciate the doctors I’ve had in the past, but Dr. Stragand was worth a 45 minute drive to see.
Everything from the registration process and the spacious, cozy waiting room to the weigh-​in was state-​of-​the-​art. There were touchscreens for signing in and a digital, ACCURATE scale for once.
As Kay mentioned, Dr. Stragand’s ears are wide open and come without judgement. He listens, realizes that not every patient’s needs are the same, and is always open to the newest, most innovative procedures and medications. Dr. Stragand doesn’t like boxes, and tends to think outside of them. In doing so, he represents the new garde of his field.
He also only expects patients to visit once a year unless an issue arises and writes up 3 month prescriptions which save money, time, and mileage.
Those who live in this area are fortunate to have someone like Dr. Stragand practicing medicine here and a top-​flight, exceedingly well-​equipped facility in which to be treated and evaluated.

Dr. Jarod Stragand has been my primary care physician for many years now, and even though I no longer live in Beaver Falls, I still come out here to see him yearly. I’d rather not get into my health issues, but Dr. Stragand LISTENS and has helped me tremendously. He’s very easy to talk to as well. I highly recommend him!
