Just finished my first order shishka-balls and they were beyond expectation. The price seemed a little high on first glance, but once I dug in, the quality of the food sold me. I’m used to paying a little more because of being gluten-free, but this is worth every penny. Definitely going back asap!

Yummy food! I’m gluten free and they have«wheat-free» signs on many of the sauces and the chicken meatballs. The garlic zing sauce was amazing. My husband isn’t GF, so he had the italian meatballs and loved them. His favorite sauce was the chees-a-lo. I didn’t love the balsamic sauce(very strong vinegar taste). The place was packed on a Friday night. Nice place to get a quick meal :)

This place is great. Such a departure from the norm. Fresh made sauces and awesome balls. So many sauces but try as many as you can. I recommend the southwest green chili. Its so good I would eat a brick if you spread it on one! The chicken bacon amazing sub is also the stuff of legends. I cant recommend the ball joint enough.

Finally, a place with good service AND food in beaver county! Our first trip here and we were very happy! Julie, the extremely nice and helpful young lady who waited on us was a doll! She asked if it was our first time(she obviously knows all the regulars from the way she was talking to other customers, remembering their«usual» orders and names, and being genuinely interested in making their experience a good one, etc) anyway… we said it was our first time and she went into a great explanation of everything on the menu, and steered us in the direction of the 12 balls(we got 6 chicken and 6 Italian) which you can pick six different sauces for and also comes with a full pound of fries for $ 16.95. It was the perfect sampler and a good amount of food. We were full and ended up bringing home 4 balls which I’m sure my boyfriend will devour before the night’s end. The chicken meatballs were almost like a shredded chicken not a ground chicken. Great texture and flavor. Everything was yummy. All the sauces were great. We got the honey Siracha, marinara(which was a great classic), Fredo marinara, chicken pot pie, hot garlic, and cheesy bacon. Yum. Yum. Yum. Yum. Yum. Yum. On all 6 accounts. Next time I would like to try the homemade pastas. The fries were hand cut deliciousness and you can add all kinds of toppings and sauces to them too. The Ball Joint makes it possible to customize every meal with so many different options you can make a meal as unique as you, or just get a good old fashion plate of spaghetti and meatballs or Mac-n-cheese. Yum. Also, I would really like to commend this place for their employees. Everyone was friendly and helpful and HAPPY. Julie even gave a little girl in the dining room a coloring book and crayons when she got a little restless. It’s little things like that that make you want to spend your money at a place. Good job ball joint, your food is awesome and so are your employees. Love to see family owned business excel! Keep it up, and many wishes for continued success!

This is my first visit to The Ball Joint. I got the Italian sub. The food is excellent and service is prompt. I would recommend to anyone visiting the College Hill area. Price is a bit expensive.

New girl at register coupled with our first visit led to confusion. The balls were good and i’m certainly glad I tried them as well as the shishkabob with veggies. If you want a side of mac n chz it’s not possible instead you get a pasta dinner which ended up being overly priced mac n chz, 1 ball and one piece of garlic bread

My daughter and I went here one evening for a quick dinner. It wasn’t what I was expecting but the food was great! First you order at the counter, the girl at the counter was so helpful! She explained the menu very well. You order your meat balls like you would wings at a bar. First you choose how many you want and then which sauces you would like to add to them. They didn’t seem to have a problem with you ordering different sauces for each meat ball.(sometimes bars don’t like to split your wing orders to accommodate different sauces) My daughter and I both ordered the mac’n cheese. It was made from scratch(including the pasta!), as I think most of the menu is. It was also baked in it’s own bowl, which made it even better! The mac’n cheese comes with garlic bread, which was great but very garlicy. Luckily we both really like garlic. I ordered the garlic meat balls, which I will not do again if I get garlic bread, again very garlicy, but not their fault I DID order all garlicy food. LOL The meat balls were awesome as well, and there were a good amount of sauces that you could choose from. While eating the owner came over and asked if everything was ok, and he seemed very pleasant also. It was obvious that he was working back in the kitchen and I always like to see that the owner or manager is working hands on. It seems to make the staff more pleasant and they surely where here! After eating I saw they had coffee, I asked the girl at the desk and she didn’t hesitate to make it for me, even know I had realized the place had closed! I felt so bad and apologized but she was all smiles and really seemed to not mind. We will definitely be going back. Just this time I am not going to order everything garlic flavored! LOL

If you’re looking for«something different» around the Beav, The Ball Joint is your place. The flavors of their balls are plentiful and the atmosphere is what you would expect. There are awesome shirts with witty sayings but don’t try giving them any of your own, they don’t need anymore puns about what’s in their buns apparently. It’s worth checking out for sure. Though I ordered a series of just balls and was underwhelmed by their flavor. Everyone in my group got a sandwich and they thought it fantastic.

This is the type of special restaurant that one would hope to find in Pittsburgh or a large city. They have a limited menu featuring meatballs. I tried the chicken Ranch sub, it was awesome. Something seemed to be missing, which was the fat found in beef. Despite that the chicken meatballs were spectacular. y friend had chicken park which he said was excellent. For better or worse they ran out of meatballs today. The cashier was very apologetic– they had a huge crowd at lunch. She gave me a coupon for a free appetizer and said please come back– I will. I like this place and want it to succeed.
