History

Established in 2013.

Stray Cat Studio started as a desire for owner, Renee Suhr, to find a place closer to home to keep developing her pottery making «addiction». What began as a personal journey has developed rapidly into a community gathering space of artists, sellers, customers and hobbyists. With a full pottery studio on one side and a locally-​sourced Artisan Gift Shop on the other, the Stray Cat has become a local treasure.

We are loyal «localists» and small business advocates. We work toward not only the strength of our own business, but the growth of both the local art and economic communities of which we are deeply a part. We seek to pull together other businesses and organizations into our events and projects whenever possible, believing that if we work together, we will all be stronger. Stray Cat Studio hopes to be a vital part of the resurrection of the shopping district of Beaver Falls, and is committed to the «town» as a whole, rather than to just our own survival as a business.
