WOW!!! THis by far the best greek food ivehad in the states thus far. Over raveled to quite a few places but hvent had any this good! I had a regular gyro. The meat was amazingly tender and very well seasoned. The pita was the freshest I have ever had, and tasted so good. The service was amazing as well. Will definitely try to return!

Excellent food and family style restaurant. ‘Mama will get you a dinner’. I was told when I arrived just after they closed. She did and it was delicious

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Beaufort. I wish they were open more often, but I understand why they aren’t. What a lot of work for one cook! The Eggplant Parm is our favorite.

Want great Greek in Beaufort? Well it’s here! Authentic and homemade but the owner. It’s a family affair with unusual business hours so call first but worth the effort.

Was on a road trip to Beaufort from Charleston and decided to stop here based on the reviews. Dinner service was just beginning and there were only a few people inside. The waiter was very welcoming and he recommended some his mother’s specials. I like small family run restaurants. The food came out promptly. I ordered hummus and the marinated chicken which came with extra pita. It was delicious. I will certainly go back when in town.

We just moved to Beaufort and we are trying new restaurants. What a gem Athenian was! It is a quaint inviting place to eat. Everything is homemade. They had specials of the day. I opted for a chicken shish kabob salad which was tasty and I would definitely get again. My husband had a falafel platter. He said the falafel was not dry and had a real good taste. Coming from the north east which has a very eclectic food culture I was pleasantly surprised that we ran across this Greek find. We will frequent this place!!!

Family owned and it shows. They take pride in their food. Stopped in today and had the special stuffed cabbage. I must say I’m looking forward to going back and trying the food again. Couldn’t have been treated any better. The place was full and it appeared everyone there was enjoying their meals. Thanks for the complementary baklava. You guys ROCK.

Best gyros, and service, and prices. Run by mom in the kitchen and son Stefano on the floor. Always a great experience. They are Greek, also from Corona, Queens. Need I say more? best Greek food ever.

I’ve been meaning to write a review about this place for a while. We order take-out from there all the time. It has amazing, authentic Greek food. Not to mention the prices are good and the family who runs it are so nice. Love the falafel and I’m always ordering extra extra extra tzatziki!

Wonderful little place right across from the beaufort memorial hospital. Once you go inside it’s beautifully decorated. I got the gyro with beef. It was thick! They’re very generous with their meat portions! Beef was flavorful and paired well with their tzatziki sauce. Would’ve been great with fries but the gyro itself made me full. Tried their baklava it was very sweet! Service is excellent they were very hospitable.

I was so happy to find a decent Greek place in Beaufort! Greeted by a very enthusiastic staff person(possibly the owner?) and seated right away, although from then on the service was a little slow and spotty. The felafel was good, as was the salad. The dolmas(stuffed grape leaves) were a little on the salty side, but it might have just been an over seasoned batch. Next time I go back I’ll try the baklava. Also, very reasonable prices!
